Bio Eddy Beneteau: (White Papoo)

Eddy Beneteau, también conocido como White Papoo, es compositor y productor fantasma que ha firmado temas con PIAS UK, Universal Music Dubái y Rockstar, el sello de Cut La Roc. Colaboró durante cuatro años con Neil Conti, baterista de David Bowie, y trabajó junto al artista chino Mico en el proyecto Jungle Micro Project, galardonado con el premio a “Mejor Instrumental Electrónico” en los Chinese Music Awards 2017, y nuevamente nominado en 2019 en la misma categoría.

En la escena new school break, lanzó The Only Tribe en Bass Invaders, el sello de Jason Distorsionz, quien también realizó un remix del tema. Entre sus otros trabajos destacados se encuentran Carnivore (remezclado por OddStage), Breakin’ & Clash con MC Killa, Saison Africaine (revisitada en 2025) y Vision, co-compuesto con Double Negative y remezclado por Opiuo. También remezcló YA Booty! de Breakin’ News con la participación de Ragga Twins.

Su álbum My Island (2012) representa una visión profunda y perfeccionista del new break, cuidada hasta el más mínimo detalle.

Desde hace 18 años, crea packs de samples para ProducerLoops.com, recientemente adquirida por Image-Line, creadores de FL Studio. Sus packs, como Liquid Breaks Vol.1, han recibido excelentes críticas. Lenny Dee, pionero de la techno en EE. UU., lo describió como un imprescindible para los productores de breakbeat.
