DJ Mandala is an Artist located in Hamburg Germany. He got his first keyboard as a christmas present when he was 11. 
Since than making music was part of his life. His first own tracks he was building with the Dance Machine Software, an
early version of Magix Music Maker, to arrange soundsamples. He loves creating Sounds with synthesizers, altering them and putting everything
together for hearable music experience. His music is a mixture out of Freestyle, Techno, Goa and House. 2022 he was going official and started
the webradio station Mandala-FM. In that year he also released his first Album Soundscapes, that can be ordered online as CD also.

Haydn’s career has spanned over 2 decades and has seen him spread his infectious eclectic sound across several continents around the world. In more recent years his time has been divided between his summer residencies in Ibiza and his expansive tours of Australia.

Haydn got a very early education in club land when he became a MINISTRY OF SOUND resident back in the mid 90's at the age of 21. 

Haydn’s next big move was when he relocated to IBIZA, soon he landed regular monthly gigs at PACHA’s iconic funky room leading to a permanent residency at PACHA’s rooftop terrace playing for some of the worlds biggest brands such as ‘Defected in the House, ‘David Guetta’s F*^K ME I’M FAMOUS’, ‘Vagabundos’ and many others. 

Further residencies at Globally recognised clubs such as EL DIVINO (Ibiza Tribe), SAVANNAH, SPACE (Cafe Ole & KOMITEE), NASSAU and THE ROCK BAR (Eivissa Port) where Haydn’s monthly B2B sessions with Maxi Jazz of Faithless went down in The Old Towns history!

A veteran jazz funker, I have been listening and collecting soul, dance and jazz for the past 35 years and is a very important part of my life. Inspired by listening to some of the great grooves, mixes and re-edits that are currently out there I figured I should do something with all the music I have amassed and which I love and adore. I have never DJ'd and what I know about music I could write on the back of a cigarette packet ( I know, I know, it shows!), but thought I'd give this a go. I'm into all genres of soul, dance and nu jazz and like to dust off a little gem which never quite made it out there and give it a fresh vibe.

I started remixing in August 2011 just fooling around on Garageband with just my intuition and a little help from Youtube to get me started. I am now working on Logic 9 and am trying to produce some of my own tracks as well as remixing.Not having a musical bone in my body can be a little frustrating at times so if there are any budding, or indeed accomplished, musicians, vocalists, 12 piece horn sections (!) who have a soulful or jazzy vibe that would like to do some collaboration work then I’d love to hear from you….as I would any mastering guru’s – Jeeesh, what son of a bit*h invented that!! :))

I am truly amazed I actually have a following here on SC and that people are actually listening and downloading my stuff. To you, I would like to say a BIG thank you for all your kindness and words of encouragement, and to those DJ’s on Solar, Starpoint, SoulLegends, JFS, Soulmine, Soulpower,Stomp JazzFM, Back2Back and everyone else that has been brave enough to actually  air some of this stuff – it means a lot!
