@srichards1975 is the DJ behind the hugely popular Disco Daze Radio Show which airs weekly and features regular guest appearances by the cream of the Disco World. Pookie Knights stormed the New Year in for Black Light Disco's show on MyHouse Radio airing on 4th Jan 2021. 

For the first hour, it's straight up vinyl - analogue heaven from the lads who know exactly what they're doing on the turntables. For the second hour, they put the pedal to the metal with a parade of non-stop disco bangers  - aided by a liberal sprinkling of some acid tones in there for those in the know. It's a cracking start to 2021 and marks a year for Black Light Disco airing on the number one House Music station on the planet, MyHouse Radio.

Hot To The Touch 150121 with MartinMax & Even Funkier on Prime Radio

The boys are back in town! Samosa Funk bangs down the door of 2021 and brings us yet another tour of their musical Frescoes to tantalise your ear drums and stimulate your funk nodes. 

First, we visit the Palazzo of Les Inferno where each masterpiece is duly unveiled.  We quite often run out of superlatives to describe Les Inferno's sets. His selections are always carefully curated, whilst the flow and sublime blending of original classics and forgotten gems takes you on a journey very few DJs and producers are capable of. Just let the music take you on this one. Seriously...

Second hour, we move into the Auditorium of De Gama. Straight away, you're in a sonic force field you can't escape from. The tone is set, and we're off on the Samosa Funk highway with a blistering display of diverse sounds, beats and rhythms featuring some of the hottest producers on the scene right now. De Gama also drops some forthcoming bombs from the Samosa Records stable that you just know are going to be huge. 

Samosa Funk consistently raises the bar, and we're delighted to have these extremely talented groovers on board with Black Light Disco.

Samosa Funk Vol 9 - with Les Inferno and De Gama

Black Light Disco returns with the flux capacitor on full tilt and the time circuits super-charged. 

Hosting the show is BLD resident Ste Hendry (Esteban), who was tasked with firing up the Disco Reactor and Centrifugal Funk Chamber for the first hour of the show. For the second hour, we had a very special guest joining us for his debut on the show -  the supremely talented Faz. 

Faz, aka Steve Farrell got the love of house music in the mid 1990s and could be regularly heard playing in venues around Chorley and Blackburn in the North of England. As part of the ‘Edits Presents’ team, Faz has played alongside legendary names such as Dave Lee, Spen, Derek Kaye and K Klass. 

Faz's sets are all about Disco, ReEdits, Energy and fun, and it's no surprise he's landed regular spots in the bars and clubs in Manchester, Leeds and Halifax. More recently, he has dipped his toe into production and featured in Masterworks Vol 4 last year as one part of 'F'Funkin Edits' and is looking forward to releasing more tracks in the very near future. The Black Light Disco show airs exclusively on the #1 house music station on the planet - myhouseradio.fm. Tune in every Monday from 2pm-4pm EST, 7pm-4pm GMT, 8pm-10pm CET. 

The idea of Black Light Disco became a real thing when a few like-minded DJs and producers came together to put on a night showcasing the very best in disco, house and funk and everything in between. Our ethos is based around a very simple concept: GOOD MUSIC, GOOD TIMES with GOOD PEOPLE. We announced ourselves on a gorgeous sunny Saturday in June 2019 with an all day and night party in Liverpool’s thriving Baltic Triangle area. It was the start of something very special. 

We have a solid core group of musical talent residing in BLD Towers hailing from England, Scotland, Wales, Northen Ireland and Italy -  providing perfectly cooked grooves and juicy basslines. 

The BLD team comprises of Esteban, Goz (Spin City), Pookie Knights, Cole Kutz (Opentempo.fm) De Gama and Fingerman (Hot Digits) – clocking up decades of DJ’ing and dancefloor experience between us. As individuals, the BLD team have been producing consistently high quality sets over the last few years. Now, as a collective, the aim is to make Black Light Disco THE place to promote new music and to bring you the very best in established/up-and-coming artists and producers in the sunlit uplands of sonic pleasure. 

In January 2020, we launched a weekly show on THE biggest house music FM radio station in New York, MyHouseRadio.fm (also available digitally at www.myhouseradio.fm).  The Black Light Disco Show airs every Monday exclusive to MyHouse Radio between 7pm – 9pm GMT (2pm -4pm EST), bringing you the finest in disco, funk and boogie; all delivered by our expert in-house Sonic Consultants (resident DJs) with guest mixes from the hottest producers, DJs and artists out there right now.
