A week ago I downloaded fLako's beattape 'Leftovers' with tracks he produced in 2008 and I felt so inspired by what I heard I managed to write four songs in like an hour. So I decided to do 'Quattro'. 

I call it an EP but it's more like just one 8-minute song, an illustrated journey into the wild in four parts, combined with mixed sounds I was hearing at that time, both from close surroundings and in my imagination. 

Quattro means 'four' in Italian, and all of the four songs are recorded in my home during the past week.

Having hit a transition in music production, it is time to deliver some music, with a new setup and direction. Aiming for more of a complete sound this is the first part in a series of beats to help the build up to my fully vocal EP due late 2012. Sivey - Cause and Effect (Forthcoming "Time In Between" Compilation)

Blessy is an alias of Mad Buddy, one half of the Tasters duo from Palermo, Sicily, one of the most productive hip hop groups in Italy.
He's started producing in 2008 and has been since trying to expand the limits of his genre, having been influenced by the hip-hop/electronic offshoot scene and artists like J dilla, pete rock and the detroit hip hop scene . He's been making both instrumental music and beat for other artists. Some months ago he came third at the Tokyo Dawn Records contest for the remix of Amalia's 'All the funk that I Need'.
