 Welcome to the Transmissions mix series, featuring sets recorded at our parties at FOLD. 

For our opening mix, we’re delighted to share a recent Steam Room session with the Bangkok-based selector and producer Sunju Hargun. 

For two hours, he delivered a masterclass of immersive, deep and psychedelic techno. And true to style, the set is a seamless flow of intricate rhythms and subtly shifting textures, shadowy grooves and pulsating basslines.  

This mix was mastered in the Area52 Studio.

Mostra and Deep Breakfast Series are collaborating for a second year to bring you home some of the sounds that echoed through the festival’s unique spaces. Mostra is an intimate, independent festival dedicated to forward-thinking and experimental electronic music, taking place over four days in Barcelona.

Among the featured performances was nigul, the ambient drone project of Jaume Muntsant (also known as Droneghost). Active since 2004, nigul explores themes of darkness and fear through dense sonic textures, field recordings, and evolving soundscapes. His hybrid set unfolded on the second day of performances at Fabra i Coats: Fàbrica de Creació.

Deep Breakfast x Mostra ~ Nigul (Hybrid Set)

Bassiani Podcast 272 brings together two techno heavy-hitters for a three-hour bout of heady, rolling grooves. In one corner comes Georgian mainstay and grassroots agitator NDRX, a formative member of Tbilisi's techno contingent. His early efforts in expanding the city's nightlife offerings helped drive radical change, and shaped the decades since. His mission further translated into the founding of Stare at DJ (2012), and 11th Floor (2015). Both are vehicles for the gathering and promotion of local talent without which, Georgia today would look much different. In the other corner comes Dustin Zahn, a midwestern champion for tribal rhythms and pulsating hypnotism. Heavily armed with a flurry of references including the brain-melting IDM of the late 90s and iconoclastic beats, Dustin founded Enemy Records in 2004. In recent years, he has made appearances on labels like Blueprint, Token, and Rekids. He also hosts the Trainwrecks Podcast, an outlet for intimate face-to-face chats with industry peers. This storied duo are a menacing match, a b2b pairing that manifests the adrenaline-fueled techno native to both their sounds and whips up a sum greater than both its parts. This latest number is a bout of fevered techno havoc devised by two sonic confrères, an auditory onslaught of hammering loops recorded live at Bassiani's season closing night.

Resident Stelios Bouboukis (@silent-stelios) has created an immersive, two-hour mix to get us in the mood for Bleep43 Inclines on 11th October 2025 at The Bath House, London. Stelios has mixed tracks from our wonderful guests with music from his extensive collection, travelling deep and wide. 

We’re very much looking forward to welcoming you back to The Bath House with a listening session for those that like to lie down and those that like to dance. Over the course of the day and across two rooms we’ll present sound healing, experimentation, deep listening and dancing. We’ll be guided by some of our favourite performers, composers and DJs, delivered on carefully tuned and custom installed sound systems.

In the main room C. Lavender will open the day and set the course with a gong and electronics sound bath.

Luke Fraser follows C. Lavender with a hybrid audio and visual performance mixing generative and interactive elements.

Our third live act of the day is a brand new collaborative project between Bleep43’s Bea Brennan and Minced Oath that was commissioned for this year’s Open Ear Festival in Ireland.

Surgeon will be playing back to back with Dan Bean throughout the day in the main room, carefully guiding us from horizontal sound immersion through to dancefloor release via the the more ecstatic, cathartic and psychedelic regions of their musical worlds.

As well as The Bath House’s main room we’ll be taking over their second room this time with extended DJ sets from Sybil and Ali Wade that promise to explore the boundaries between stasis and movement.

After an extended pause for much needed rest and slow reflection, the Patterns of Perception crew is excited to return to our mix series with fresh energy and a stellar new mix from Jasmin, aka softi (@jazz_brown). 

Soulful, breezy and groove-laden, softi's Patterns of Perception 122 shimmers with her kaleidoscopic, minimal sound. Weightless sparks float and flicker in dim light. Time dilates; seasons drift.

Hey Jasmin, how’s it going? What's been happening for you lately?
I’m well, I’m currently living between Lisbon and London this summer which has been a dream! Great food, beach sessions and writing music. It’s been a wild 3 months and I’m just getting myself ready for the seasons changing!

What can you tell us about your mix?
For this mix I wanted to mould my love of groovy minimal and psychedelic tones for the moody season ahead, which is usually my signature sound! I have been producing a lot of this recently and some of my unreleased bits are exclusively inside 💜

⁠Is there a track or tracks that are extra special for you?
I’d probably say my own productions are the special to me as it reminds me of how much I have developed as a producer and artist. I love connecting with the tracks and being able to create my own atmospheric world for listeners to get lost in. But one track that I always come back to is "bluep" by Underground City Loop (a producer from Aus). I have been playing this track for years and it has every sonic element you'd want from a track - low end sub groove with dark melodic synths.
