„You‟re A Fish‟ is exactly what the title implies... A. Balter presents here, in our opinion, his best solo work so far. Based on warm engulfing bass line, contrasted with lazy and groovy percussion work, seamlessly concurred by skillfully crafted and slowly developing lovely chord progression – this track is a swimming session you don‟t want to end. 

„Drought‟ with its wobbly bass and melancholic melody is like an old friend from the past coming to visit – and suddenly you remember how much he was missed. This is the sound we love and miss in nowadays Techno productions. 

Eitan Reiter, another frequenter @ Digital Structures stables, takes the original „Drought‟ to the “world of Eitan”, where ever changing and abstract phrases are riding on a conveyer of constantly evolving bass structures. Thrilling and deep, the track seamlessly changes phases till the inevitable ending.

For Pan-Pot's second release on their new imprint they fall nothing short of what you would expect from the infamous duo.

"Grey Matter" is a stormer made especially for the intense peak time strobe lights of a dark sweaty club. The pulsing stabs and swelling bass in combination with the rolling hi-hats and shakers keep the energy flowing upward. 
Don't let the word grey in the title fool you, this track is more a burning red. Just like the deep ominous vocal says, "We're burning"!

On the flip side is "Substance“ and with this one, Pan-Pot showcase their vast knowledge of what tension can do on the dance floor. From beginning to end, it teases with builds that never quite go over the edge. Constantly increasing, it creates the desire for just a little more while never giving you the satisfaction of a resolution.

It's a concept that only masters can make work and when it does, it's nothing short of brilliant.

The affable young Chiati is a multi-instrumentalist who has banged, plucked and sung his way through childhood which, to be fair, wasn’t that long ago, having only recently turned 19. He likes music so much, he even decides to study it in the form of music technology and sound engineering before taking a year off to produce some real tracks for the world – and what a joy for the world. Except the tracks aren’t joyous, they’re ominous and dark, with basslines on this EP definitely hitting a pro gym membership, that’s how fit and punching their kicks are. But still with a vibrant touch that leaves you licking your fingers for more. And honestly, who doesn’t love a good licking?

This new song once again features the stunning vocals of Sutja Gutierrez, a skilled singer who also appears on ‘The Show’ (the first single taken from the album) and ‘Someone in the Sky’ (second single).

The icing of this freshly baked cake is thanks to the remixers: Renato Cohen and dubspeeka, both highly respected artists, complete the diversified and sophisticated electronic journey of the Spanish talent. The São Paulo-based Cohen gives us our Debut Transmission, which demonstrates once again his natural talent on the groove, utilising snippets of the original's dynamic vocal layered with scratchy percussion loops. Whilst, on the other hand, the shadowy Bristolian producer dubspeeka delivers yet another booming smart-techno soundscape. An authentic intoxicating dancefloor cut.

Florian Kruse - Beyond The Bloom 

Following from his pair of stunning releases on Steve Bug’s Audiomatique in 2017, Berlin-based producer Florian Kruse drops another killer EP to kick off 2018. Kruse has built a reputation of his perfectly crafted dancefloor bombs, treading the in-between areas of techno and house for labels such as Selador, Poker Flat Recordings and Noir Music.

'Beyond the Bloom' is a perfect example of his approach - a tough groove designed to make you move, with a bubbling, restless bass pulse. The percussion is tight and snappy, and there's plenty of drama to keep the track moving along.

'Blind Traveler' - the name is taken from a piece of art - edges closer to the techno side of things, with a deep detonation aimed at the heart of the night. Built around a minimum of elements, each hit and synth stab is perfectly placed, creating a ferociously effective whole.
