Dear creatures,

We are still overwhelmed and find it difficult to put our happiness into words. The conclusion of the summer in Europe with our beloved @mysticcreatures was simply fantastic. The location and the sound were breathtaking, and the festival season couldn't have ended any better than with our friends and family. A big thank you to all the helpers, dancers, and organizers who made this festival one of our absolute favorites.

Imagine this: the bass thumping, the crowd grooving, and the energy so intense, you're practically sweating out all your worries! Here's my recording from the epic party that took place in a cozy basement tucked away in Greenwich Village in Manhatten.

What an honor to have been invited with my art to the 10th anniversary of Mezcal Amores. It was a once in a lifetime experience to play alongside so many talented artists in a place that took my breath away with every glance.  When I play, I pray. I internalize my intention to share for the good of ALL and from the heart. Because I want to believe that at the core of our being, in our soul, we all find the beauty we need to make this world a better place. I wish for us to see and potentiate our strengths, lovingly kiss our weaknesses and fertilize each other with our passion. 
Thank you Deborah for this invitation. Thank you Yara and the whole team for the smooth production and the feeling of home and family. 
As always, this set has some tracks that have not yet been released. Among others from my good friend Irorie with his new project Anna Almani or the wonderful human being Hovr. Be on the lookout for these wonderful beings!

Happy start into the week! We celebrate our 50. Traumcast with a very special trip. We join @tvisker on a journey through percussions, warm melodies and driving beats. 

Layers over layers build a cotton like soundscape to let yourself fall only to be interrupted by strong synthesizer rhythms and heart opening drops. The perfect soundtrack to start the festival season!

🥁 Did you have any significant realizations in 2024 that you'd like to share with us?

Nothing keeps you fresher, sexier and happier than raving. But I have this insight every year 🤤.

🥁 What is your favorite procrastination activity?

Watching Start Trek from the 80s/90s. Pro tip: I recently started re-watching the X-Files. I've never fallen asleep so smoothly and quickly 🛸👌🏻.  

🥁 What is the strangest or most unusual talent you possess?

I am an amateur ornithologist. Little flying dinosaurs with complex social behavior - love it. My favorite birds are jackdaws. They are very intelligent, sociable and spend the whole day chatting, playing and cuddling.

Ten years in the making, we finally fulfilled the dream of getting Madmotormiquel on to the river bank for a Sunday afternoon - and boy did he deliver. Not only were the records selected exactly what we would have hoped for - but he brought along another secret weapon - Mimi Love. Mimi's infectious energy and unstoppable selections were a fine match for Michi's - and here it is in all its glory. Enjoy!
