Ruby J is a DJ, producer based in New York and one of Australia’s most respected wranglers of late-night dancefloors. Her show is a high-velocity ride, mixing her unique sonic selections and her own exclusive club remixes, into a cocktail of only the most potent party tunes. You'll find Ruby headlining wall-to-wall packed clubs, bringing the boogie on festival stages and slinging tunes in backroom saloons alike.

On the airwaves, Ruby’s club remixes have been spun by DJs across the globe including on Triple J and Sirius XM on Diplo’s Revolution Radio. And on stage, she has performed on barnstorming line-ups alongside Calvin Harris, Green Velvet, Joel Corry, Flight Facilities, Oliver Tree, Alison Wonderland, Hayden James and more. As well, the talented selector has appeared at Splendour in the Grass, ARIA Awards, Festival X, and Defected events.

Alt-pop, folk edges, electronic shine.

Bliss Carmxn is the project of Canadian-born, London-based artist Adam Kaasa, weaving together electro shimmer, piano ballads, and folk textures into a sound both intimate and expansive. Drawing comparisons to Perfume Genius, Paul Simon, and Caroline Polachek, Bliss moves between dancefloor pulse and reflective storytelling.

Their debut EP Hold My Hand And I’ll Hold Yours (2024) won critical acclaim — Clash praised its “spellbinding textures” and Mystic Sons highlighted its “soaring atmosphere and stellar vocals.” Early singles like Powder (BBC London premiere) and Call Me By My Name established Bliss’s presence on Berlin’s Wicked Hag label and cultivated an international remix network.

Live performances have spanned from London’s Waiting Room (sold-out EP launch) to a first Canadian tour in 2025, with shows in Edmonton, Calgary, and Toronto.

The upcoming EP Open Love (March 2026) marks a new chapter, moving beyond disco-pop polish toward folk-influenced, storytelling-driven arrangements. Its lead single Caffeine Orange drops September 2025.

Bliss’s practice also extends into interdisciplinary work: selected for Moonbound (the first artbook set to land on the Moon in 2026) and creating the score and album for When the Clarion Came to Call, a dance-opera premiering in London in late 2025.

Lucid Letters is a songwriter and music producer from the north west of England.

Bantu.Lab is a creative collective comprised of Architects, Urban Planners and Urban Designers focused on the conceptualisation, visualisation,
imagination and realisation of black spatial imaginaries. 

Our laboratory is focused on black youth culture and its economy. Our work is about making sense of these connections and what they reveal about urban growth and street dynamics. As urban spatial scientists, our work starts by finding the right instruments through which to test these realities. We investigate Fresh Produce, Music, Fashion, Youth Culture and Transport, Sounds, Signs, Smells and Tastes; in how they are layered and composed in ways that seem chaotic but actually work in harmony within black spaces.

At the heart of our agenda is redefining the worth, reimagining the futures and reconciling spatial academic competencies with our lived spatial realities. Our main area of study is decoding the vibrancy, culture, identity and complexities of black spaces.
