Ele Luz ist in Kolumbien geboren und in Österreich aufgewachsen. Nach ihrem Architektur-Studium landete sie in Berlin wo sie mit dem Auflegen als After-Work-Hobby anfing. Von den ersten Schritten im Musikstudio bis hin zu tollen Gigs in Berliner Clubs hat sie viel Zeit und Energie investiert, um ihre Skills zu verbessern und ihren Stil zu definieren. Aus einem Hobby wurde Leidenschaft zu Deeptech und Minimal Techno, die sie in ihrer Musik widerspiegelt. Seit kurzem ist sie Mitglied des Kollektivs "Right here, right now", das neue spannende Events verspricht.

INTERVIEW:
1. Wie lange legst du nun schon auf und wie hast du es gelernt?

Ele Luz: Meinen ersten Einsteiger Controller holte mich mir 2016, woraufhin ich mir die ersten Schritte erstmal alleine beibrachte. Nach kurzer Zeit schloss ich mich einem Kollektiv an, mit dem ich dann ein Musikstudio teilte und so oft es ging übte.


2. Gibt es ein bestimmtes Event oder Moment an das/den du dich gern zurück erinnerst? 

E: Meine beiden Male im Sisyphos Dampfer. Mein absoluter Lieblingsfloor. Die Leute gehen immer richtig ab und man kommt schön in Fahrt.
Mein Gig in Río de Janeiro/ Brasilien Anfang des Monats war auch ein einmaliges Erlebnis.

3. Was wünscht du dir, sollte in der Clubszene .anders laufen?

E: Es sollten auch Newcomer, die noch nicht so vernetzt sind, eine Chance in der Club Szene bekommen. Außerdem ist das Verhältnis Frauen und Männer auf dem Lineup leider oft sehr unausgeglichen.

4. Wie würdest du deinen Musik beschreiben?

E: Schwierig, da ich gerne und viel ausprobiere. Aber aktuell lege ich gerne Deeptech und Minimaltechno auf. Bei b2b Sessions probiere ich jedoch meistens Neues aus, was sehr spannend und  bereichernd ist

5. Was liegt dir neben dem Auflegen noch sehr am Herzen? 

E: Gestalten! Ich begeistere mich für Design und Architektur - was auch meine Berufung ist.

6. Wenn du ein Wort wärst, welches wäre das? 

E: Energiebündel

7. Musik machen bedeutet für dich…?

E: Musik machen ist für mich eine Form und Leidenschaft mich auszudrücken.

8. Hast du bestimmte Pläne und Ziele, von denen du uns erzählen möchtest?

E: Mal auf einem großen Festival aufzulegen wäre traumhaft
