Paul Mike — The Defender of Holmgard  

Once, Holmgard was a city of light and machines, a technological oasis in the heart of the wastelands. But after the cataclysm, its heart barely beat: the factories fell silent, and life-support systems teetered on the brink of collapse. The remaining inhabitants hid in the shadows of ruins, sheltering from the relentless attacks of the techno-barbarians — savages who turned technology into a weapon of destruction.  
Amid this chaos emerged Paul Mike, an engineer who refused to abandon his city. When others fled, he remained among the crumbling workshops and humming transformers, vowing to protect Holmgard at any cost.  

The Origins of a Dark Path  
Paul’s life had always been entwined with machines. In the pre-cataclysmic world, he designed industrial systems, syncing them with musical algorithms. For Paul, technology and music were inseparable: every machine operated to the rhythms of techno, turning factories into colossal symphonies of labor.  
But the catastrophe destroyed everything. On the day the skies darkened and the earth trembled, Paul lost not only colleagues and loved ones but his faith in humanity. He inherited a void — both in the world and in his heart. To fill it, he became one with his machines. Using implants and his own inventions, Paul merged his body with technology, transforming himself into a living war station.  
Paul Mike created a unique arsenal — a system of combat turrets powered by his techno sets. Thunderous basslines drove massive hammers, synthesized sounds guided lasers, and pounding rhythms unleashed sound waves capable of obliterating enemy forces.  
Each of his sets is an epic battle. The techno-barbarians, accustomed to destruction and plunder, faced an unprecedented foe. His music didn’t just repel attacks; it made his enemies feel their bodies succumb to the rhythm, breaking under the sheer power of sound.  

A Dark Reputation  
The people of Holmgaard revere him for their salvation but fear for his soul. Paul rarely leaves his tower, hidden in the city’s heart, where he spends sleepless nights crafting tracks capable of annihilating armies. He is no longer fully human — his skin is encased in machine armor, and his eyes glow a menacing red, like a warning signal.  
Rumors of his methods spread far and wide. Some say he sends musical signals into the wastelands, luring enemies into deadly traps. For him, music is not just a weapon; it is a means to lead the techno-barbarians into their final dance.  
Paul Mike believes his music can do more than defend — it can inspire. Before the cataclysm, he dreamed of uniting people through rhythm and melody. Now, his goal is to purge the world of the barbaric chaos and create a utopia where techno becomes the foundation of a new civilization.

Ritchies' musical roots began with a passion for the trance movement in the mid 90's and that distinctive Balearic sound. His love of soulful house and disco from the likes of Soulfuric Records and Defected tuned his ears to the structure of powerful melodies, wicked vocals and hitting the club scene to appreciate it all live. 

This was his inspiration to dive in to DJing and producing electronic music, which was soon followed by opportunities to perform in niche venues across London.

Since then Ritchie has performed at venues across the UK & Ibiza, with particular focus on the Capital scene including, Horse & Groom, Egg, Ministry Of Sound, McQueen, E1, Orange Yard, the incredible Ibiza Sunset Boat Parties, Eden and Pacha. Supporting brand promotions such as the famous Ibiza brand Pukka Up, London Sound Academy, ARRVL, The Gallery. EXiT, Selador.

His style fuses a range of influences from Nu disco, vocal, progressive & deep house right through to tech house and techno, depending on the time, space & environment.

His passion and love of progressive House, electronica & Deep techno, saw him co-found events and record label brand ARRVL 6 years ago - focussed on showcasing the music which takes followers & fellow genre lovers on memorable, emotive, musical narratives.

Ritchie also runs the house, disco and indie dance events brand, Social Beats, with over 20 events across London and beyond.

In the last 6 years, he has focused his attention to the production side, with a number of EP and single releases on labels such as ICONYC, Coldharbour, NYLO, 64K Recordings, Krafted Underground., Capital Heaven, Mango Alley and Manual. And there’s much more to come in 2024.
