Emerging from the vibrant East London electronic music scene, Josh Smith is quickly establishing himself as a rising talent within the Rominimal and Microhouse realms.
As both a producer and DJ, Josh blends the stripped-back, groove-laden sound of Eastern Europe with his own signature style, characterized by moody, ambient textures, organic percussion, and driving, raw basslines. With releases on prominent Romanian labels like Carpathian Sounds, PhonicHouse1, and The Lab, Josh has gained recognition for his distinctive sound, alongside guest mixes for well-regarded platforms such as Zebra Records and Outpunkt Records. His ability to weave deep, immersive soundscapes has made him a sought-after artist in the underground scene.

Recently, Josh has shifted focus towards building his own brand and label, flurt, which explores a more mysterious and experimental edge of Minimal and Microhouse, pushing boundaries while staying rooted in the genre’s core elements.
