What a great dialogue between those hectic beats and that somewhat jazzy atmospheric guitar line.

Ok, you know I'm going to say more than Wow. Did you guys wander off to some jazz rock fusion music seminar? The intro reminded me of some of your older songs, but then the tricky slight of hand and we're off on this great rockin jazz tune. I get a picture of the 3 of you all hunched over your instruments, submerged into your own musical worlds, each playing his part but the end product is this great instrumental. As I mentioned before your musical progression is excellent, and you're right, having Monotronaut on drums has added an expanded dimension that you were missing. He has given you a more complete sound, and in doing so makes you and Trace stand out even more and shine through. Great song. And compliments to the 3 of you. Still need to DL your EP.

This is an ambient/post-rock project. After years of playing nothing but metal we had the idea to slow everything down and take out the words. Not the most original idea but a crucial one nonetheless.  The result is an instrumental project we now know as Blue-Sky Spirits.
