Josh J Searles, a multi-talented classical guitarist, composer, music producer and DJ. He holds a masters degree from the University of Alicante, a prestigious performance program in Spain. Searles has been working in music production for close to 20 years under different aliases, most well known for the duo Daega Sound and his solo project Tamarak . In 2022 he began creating an avante garde hybrid classical guitar and electronic music album. Titled "Ghost Orchid" this unique record will be Searles' first Dolby Atmosphere 7.4 spatial mix. A very unique creation highlighting the colours, harmony and melody of the guitar, layered with sound design and beats created electronically. His new music, defying a conventional or convenient label, could be described as Neo Classical or Post Classical, but could also just as easily fall into genres like Electronica or Experimental.
