iatromanti is the name of Jorge Zaldívar’s Psy Trance project in which he intends to mix a lot of styles and subgenres of different musical genres, such as Hi Tech, Dark Psy, Forest, Twilight, Dub Step, Jazz Fusion and Contemporary Classical music, with a sophisticated storytelling unifying everything. This project's main objective is to propose a different and unique way of listening and dancing to psychedelic music, flowing in between experimental harmony, fast-changing structures, and irregular rhythmic meters.   

Jorge Zaldívar alias “iatromanti”, plays musical instruments such as guitar, drums, and piano since he was 10 years old. He studied his bachelor’s degree on electric guitar execution of popular contemporary music and started developing his career as a producer and keyboard player since he was done with his degree. 

The term “Iatromantis” is composed of the suffix “iatros” (healer) and “mantis” (prophet and/or crazy). It’s been told, that iatromantis were possessed by Apolo (the ancient greek god of music), and they used to make platforms of dancing rituals dedicated to Dionisio (god of wine, festivity, excesses, and pleasures). They also channeled the power of involving other worlds contained in our world, modulating the light and confronting the darkness that affects the distress in our lives. Like shamans in other cultures, itromantis used to lead people to fly and heal themselves. 

Beyond the music itself, iatromanti intends to create auditory spiritual portals for listeners to explore their inner dual selves and use it as a path of self-knowledge and especially for healing.
