A little awhile after we started dating in the fall of 2018, we co-wrote our first song together and BlueRaspberry was born. It was called “My Brain Is Not a Part of My Heart,” and it’s about navigating a loving relationship when both partners have mental illnesses. It’s about how to give each other grace, knowing the other person’s words and actions from their brain may sometimes be at odds with the enormous love for the other in their heart. Over four years later, this song is recorded and finally ready to be released into the world!

BlueRaspberry is an anti-folk duo featuring Will and Cecelia Parker. Their songs are often about mental illness, love, and various monsters and ghouls. Someone recently described their music as "wholesome psychiatric death folk for the inner child." In 2022, they released their debut single, "Like This," and their full-length album, "The Harmless Haunt," dropped on Friday, January 13, 2023. Will and Cecelia are also known as Folk Punk Dad and Manic Pixie Dream Mom on TikTok where they are internet parents to over 166k cool kids. The couple lives in New Haven, CT where they are considering getting a pet.
