Shout out to 'I want to Dee' for praising these melodies so much on the Crime Side album on my YouTube upload - I initially thought they weren't enough for a full remix on their own and just had them as he intro to my remix of Can It Be All So Simple. When I first made these beats I remixed one with the acapella to Last Dayz by Onyx, and at the time I thought it was a cool vibe for a very dark acapella. Lots of very very grimey imagery in these lyrics and I think these beats bring out that emotional weight of what the emcees are talking about, especially sticky fingaz - his verse starting with contemplating suicide is insane.
