Original Quigley is based in the Scottish Highlands. He writes music based on real life experiences that have helped him create the music which drips emotion and passion in every word and melody. Recent successes include "The Place That We Know" placing as Category Winner in West Coast Songwriter's International Contest (May'22) and multiple tracks placing as semi-finalists in both UK Songwriting Contest and "Unsigned Only" competitions.

The great news is the song co written with Mike Baldwin, Can't Lose Those Memories, has won the Country category in the UK Songwriting Contest 2024.  I've had a few final places but never a win, I'm a very happy man.  Thank you for wonderful lyrics Mike.
I have been a guitar player and lead vocalist since the age of 13, performing in bands of varying genres including Pop, Heavy Rock, Folk & Modern Country.  Main instrument is the guitar, influenced by a variety of artistes and styles including Mark Knopfler, The Eagles, Don Williams, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, Deep Purple and Santana. This has helped me to perform and write in different genres but I particularly enjoy Americana, modern country music and instrumental themes/incidental music.  
I play keyboard well enough to provide accompaniment and additional instrumentation to my recordings.  Now retired, I write, record and produce from a home studio.  Songwriting successes include shortlisted lyrics for a Commonwealth Song for HM The Queen in 2022, a song to be presented to Sir Cliff Richard in 2018, several UK Songwriting Contest Finalist Places and appearances on BBC radio in the UK.  I have successful collaborated with several other writers and performers across the UK and US.
