Precious in my heart,
But it never came to pass.
Rearranged all my drawers of memory's worn out socks,
Corrected all my broken lifetime's kitchen clocks.
Just ticking down the time.

Backwards at the speed of life,
Burdened in my mind.
Who stole it all away?
The clarity of thought
That defined me yesterday.
Dusted all the volumes on my memory's shelf,
Time-lapsed photographic of my former self.

Tomorrow calls in shades of black,
I swear these walls are staring back,
We waltz our falls in spiral mime,
Just ticking down the time.

Ticking down the time.
Lights out on the road ahead,
Fog come down behind.
Ready to anoint
The corpse of a life history
Shrivelled to a point.
JPEG'd out the detail of the smiling years,
Algorithmically compressed into this room of tears,
Where I'm just ticking down the time.

BEAUTIFUL DAY**WINK&WOO**RICØ MIX

Another track inspired by Paul Kingsnorth's novel, "The Wake". 
I don't want to spoil the plot for prospective readers but this track is essentially about how places and times fix in our memories, making us yearn to return - perhaps to relive them in some way - although we know that world has gone.
The electric guitar is a Gibson 335 and the acoustic is a nylon string flamenco guitar fitted with brand new strings (what a difference new strings make!).

Dear friends, this song may seem a little bit weird.
I wrote it after a difficult struggle against several different passwords.
I am so fond of making self ironic songs - just for fun!
Among the worst is when you are logged out! So hard to be able to log in again, which can take forever! We older people also spend a lot of time looking for various things!

Not so easy for us Old

The times have changed for all of us somewhat older 
people who struggle along with all modern facilities around us
This morning I tried to open
the oven for to bake some bread for my wife and for me
but the child safety lock was too tough for me
It isn’t so easy for all of us old these days

When I was a child I used to call all my friends with an 
ordinary telephone but the modern equipment is too tiny for me
I’m just messing around with tiny knobs at the front
and lots and lots of strange messages are sent to me each day
and I don’t know what to do with them 
It isn’t so easy for all of us old these days


You should have seen me when I am going to 
back out my brand new car and if I am too close to my neighbors car
then all hell will break loose for me
it flashes and it squeals in every corner of my newly bought car 
now I think I will pick up my old car again
It isn’t so easy for all of us old these days

Tiderna har förändrats för oss alla lite äldre

Not so easy for us old

“Creation Carol” is a reverent, story-driven Christmas song that follows creation’s journey from groaning under the curse to rejoicing at the birth of Christ. All tracks  are recorded in a spontaneous manner typically in a single take. Most lyrics are also spontaneous improvisations derived from the feelings of the moment. We let the guitar and drums interact and the music just happens. Most if not all of the music is inspired from this interaction.

The recording equipment up until January 2019 consisted of a dated Fostex 8 track and a few microphones...We simply lay down a guitar and drum track and let it unfold the way you are hearing it by bouncing tracks. We just have to make music to live. Music of any kind, music that speaks for itself... 

In January 2019 recording equipment was upgraded to Logic X and a UA Apollo MKll Quad Core Recording interface...We entered a new building and still trying to find the light switch so bare with us as we keep lighting matches...
