February's First Flower - Το Πρώτο Άνθος Του Φεβρουαρίου

This tune is similar in one respect to two other tracks (Lunar Zone and Missing Link) from the "FUSION QUEST" era, in which I enjoyed having the sounds of a saxophone as an added feature. This time however, instead of Ben Schachter on the sax, another local saxophonist by the name of Kevin Vannoy plays the melody for this composition. 
This was also recorded on my brand new (at the time - 1995) Alesis 8-track ADAT recording machine, which allowed me to add more layers compared to the first few productions that I did (probably a half year earlier).
With the exception of my guitar (and in this case, Kevin's sax), all other sounds come from the Korg T-3, controlled and executed by midi sequencing, which was all programmed directly within the T-3.

Accompaniment and the melody of the piano become the main. I am doing coloring in music in a string, a percussion.

I am sorry for my absence. 

But I am much more sorry for having lost my father on May 24, 2022. He was far too good for this world, yet this world was never nearly as good to him in return. 

Please give me time. *He* certainly wasn't given enough, and this ungrateful world is so much poorer for it.

Massive drums and brass lift you when courage is needed; intimate felt-piano, handpan and strings hold you when the heart opens. Everything is wordless and ceremonial—crafted to support deep inner work without pulling attention away.
Best way to listen
Low or moderate volume, full-range speakers or good headphones, lights soft and warm. Breathe with the swells. Allow the spaces between notes to do their work.
