After lislbar finished the compilation "Who's That Man - A Tribute To Conny Plank" in 2012 for Grönland Records, "bohemian drips" (back then it consisted of the two founding members "lislbar & wermuth") teamed up with Simon Clement a.k.a. "esclé" from Leipzig to host a concert-tour in five german cities. Each event featured both a live arrangement of the digitalised Conny Plank archive material by one of the rework-artists and a live concert by one of the representatives of the german Krautrock-scene. The result was an unique mixture of modern production approaches and the musical spirit of the 60s and 70s. The visitors were able to experience Conny Planks heritage from two different perspectives in a single event. Electronic musicians like Günther Lause, Kreidler's Toulouse Low Trax or Uncanny Valley's Credit 00 interpreted the material in a contemporary context, while Can's Jaki Liebezeit, Dominik von Senger, Embryo, Dieter Moebius and Hans-Joachim Roedelius sent the audiences back into the mystical depths of the Krautrock-era.

Konrad "Conny" Plank (May 3, 1940 – December 18, 1987) was a German record producer and musician. He was born in Hütschenhausen. His creativity as a sound engineer and producer helped to shape many innovative recordings of postwar European popular music, covering a wide range of genres including progressive, avant-garde, electronic music and krautrock. Bloody good show we thought. Well happy geezers as winkle snoozed off on the sofa and I hit the hay. Next morning I checked the recording and..

BALLBAGS! the first 45mins was all glitchy :( Winkle decided we should do it again, so we did. 45mins of loveliness... and it GLITCHED AGAIN!

Pub. Day ended. Next day winx was round again, and we did it over, all good.

Turns out Focusrite don't play nice with Mavericks. Who knew? Who cared even?

The first track is by Marlow, and I have been gagging to play it for ages. Third track is new from Locoto and I'm big on his gear as you probably know by now. There is new marx trukker and a pile of new records (the new leif LP is proper special), plus a fist full of old 7"

In munich driptastic Ur-Kraut-Monsters EMBRYO played a massive, worldmusic fusion show at one of munichs finest clubs - STROM. Finally we found some time to listen through all the recordings of the concert - WERMUTH. found nearly 2h of material for your pleasure. With breaks, applause and ambiency - all out of the material we found on a fieldrecorder. Strange impressions - out in space. 

We like to thank all of EMBRYO (in its past, present and future forms) - Christian Burchard, his daughter Maria, Dieter Serfas from AMON DÜÜL who is drumming in this record - and all the other players that shared sound in this very special night.

We are very happy, that we were allowed to upload a part of the session for documentary purposes. We really enjoyed the concert - thanks to Jaki and Dominik, it was a pleasure.

The Berlin based label “bohemian drips” was founded in 2011 by Alexander Meurer and Fillipp Vingerhoets and is specialized in developing, publishing and staging site-specific compositions in settings with distinctive acoustics. The inclusion of the spatial sound in as a compositional dimension forms the basis of this production process: To capture a three dimensional image, those productions are recorded in binaural audio ("Kunstkopf-Stereophonie"). Following this approach, the label organizes a yearly festival for site-specific music in two old water reservoirs in Berlin, Pankow. Since 2016, "bohemian drips" also releases studio LPs.
