Pional joins Brazilian DJ-producer Davis for an inspired split EP titled 'Time Of The G's / Clone Heart' for the twelfth release on Fort Romeau's Cin Cin imprint.

KETAMA is a creative collaboration between Nicola Loporchio and Michele Lamacchia. Today we premiere the second track from their debut EP titled Voyage which is to be released on Italian based label Cosmic Rhythm. Cosmic Rhythm state the four-track record was created, " [...] while breathing a tropical breeze in Italy."

"Dreamscapes" is the title of the track we have the pleasure of sharing. The track is Balearic house at its finest. It is a soundscape, which illustrates a warm hazy tropical scene. Warm synths and dreamy high-pitched tones ring away and emanate bird song, the bass line plucks away and percussion drives throughout and lays the groove, so much groove.

As is common in Balearic house music a stringed guitar plays melodies which further the romance and chilled out feel of the track.

This is track would not sound out of place on a dance floor thanks to the energy of the drums and the build-up of space and delay between sections. However, it may be best placed on a long scenic drive in the summer, or perhaps whilst lying on a beach. Wherever you choose to listen it will bring a glimpse of sun and sea and perhaps a memory of a happier and warmer time.

The record is set to be released on 29 January 2019.

Hidden under the veil of anonymity for years, Grant - now known to be Anthony Collins, half of Brooklyn’s revered Frank & Tony and co-founder of Scissor & Thread - has been a game changer in the lo-fi house scene. Pairing classic sounds from Detroit & Chicago house with complex textures and deep soundscapes, he’s created a powerful signature sound of his own. Having put out 6 impressive records under the wing of the Lobster Theremin family and his self-titled Grant offshoot, his partnership with head lobster Jimmy Asquith continues as he marks the second release on Asquith’s new label SITU Records.

Today’s premiere is the A2 off this new venture, titled “Dash”. Things heat up as a moody bassline and 909 beat strut along in good Chicago fashion. As the track breaks down, pads ebb and flow, shimmering, plucky synths breeze in, distant strings echo, and a stuttering vocal emerges. The combination of elements prove effective as they all combine to make the perfect slow-burning groover, perfect for eyes-closed dancing in the morning hours.

Across the Long Game EP, Grant offers up 4 cuts of moody oldschool house, taking us on a journey through the deeper end of things. Though never straying too far from his roots, Grant manages to sound fresh as ever, always bringing new energy to the table. Another buy on sight release from a masterful producer.

Today’s premiere is from the galactic journeyman and cosmic healer E Davd. Davd has been honing his distinctly blissful and euphoric brand of house over the past couple years, most notably with releases on renowned labels Natural Sciences and X Kalay. Stepping up for Blaq Numbers this time around, E Davd has delivered yet another beautiful galactic excursion through the cosmos on his track “Solstice.”

Solstice begins with icy synth arpeggios that shimmer the reflecting winter sunlight. As the meditative synth line progresses, dubby splashes of filtered pads begin to lift the track into orbit. The cozy and contemplative intro gives way to a rollicking bassline that gives the track some thump. The funky bass chugs along in the mix driving the tune, while beautifully crafted synths flutter and glisten along the top end of the mix. It is a track to get lost in. One where you can feel your feet planted and your mind floating. The future is exciting for the young producer, and we look forward to what else is in store from him. Solstice is a strong addition from an ever compelling catalog from Blaq Numbers.

We are excited for today's premiere, coming from Crackazat, the British producer who is based in Sweden. He enchants us with his magical jazzy house sound on his new release 'Magic Touch'. The album includes eight reworked tracks from the Swedish house label 'Local Talk'.

Real name Ben Jacobs, Crackazat is known for a groovy jazz-house fusion sound. Through his early influences of jazz, he developed his sensual feelings for rhythm and swing. This impact quickly gave him the motivation to pick up a guitar and bass to start producing all kinds of music on his own, whether it be in the style of hip hop, jazz or funk. His debut, the release of the synth-funk and downtempo "Explanation" EP in 2012 and then shortly after, the release of a dive into club music named "Tunnel" EP, attracted the attention of DJs all over the world and were global breakthroughs. His relocation in the same year to the Swedish city of Uppsala allowed him to connect with the Swedish house label 'Local Talk' on which he is now releasing the 'Magic Touch' album.

The album includes soulful reworks of names like 'HNNY', 'Terrence Parker', and 'DJ Spinna's' track 'Tie It Up' which is also our Bolting Bits premiere today. A flicking snare on an easy beat with equal light claps, followed by a groovy synth-chord combine to form a super light and joyful mood. This full-time groover is the second track on the oh so soulful and jazzy 'Local Talk' rework album and it awoke a high interest in us to continue listening to the whole album, which is incidentally a very nice piece of music.

The Bolting Bits team can highly recommend getting a copy of the 'Magic Touch' album and we're proud to present Crackazat's new release. We are also glad to support him on his way and are going to be excited to listen to more of Jakob's inspiring jazz fusion sound in the future. Ben Gomori, label head of Monologues Records and Stern Edits, might be one of the busiest men in the industry today. When he's not providing us with the freshest dance music through his two labels, Ben can be seen spending his "leisurely" time hosting podcasts, radio shows, and video series like Turned On, Monologues and RecordReplay. If that wasn't enough, Ben puts on club night fundraisers for Help Refugees and the highly esteemed album listening sessions Pitchblack Playback. We honestly do not know where the man finds the time, but he does.

Given his absurd work rate, we were not surprised to learn back in July that Ben Gomori also produces under the previously anonymous moniker G. Markus. Mr. Gomori's reasoning for starting the project was "[...] to make deeper, freakier, trackier stuff than I was known for under my own name. It was a breath of fresh air starting from a blank canvas and sending music to labels anonymously with no preconceptions, having no social media and so on."

Whether he's releasing music under his own name or G. Markus, one can argue that Ben has a knack for making edits that rivals any of his contemporaries today. And this unique skill is on full display throughout his latest track titled "Red E," in which he takes on an 80's classic. Using the infectious vocal sample as a centerpiece, Ben chooses to pair it with an equally catchy assortment of lively piano house melodies and cheeky synths that are reminiscent of greats like Kerri Chandler.

A surefire way to start any party, DJs and producers alike would be negligent by not adding this chune to their collection. "Red E" along with "Cum Thru" are out today! Get your copy now!

Makèz (formed by Jan-Willem Mulder and Kees van ‘t Klooster) are a duo from Amsterdam, where they both studied music production and sound design. Apart from DJ’ing under various aliases, they’ve also been organizing their own successful intimate party series “Peak Mystique” and that’s where we got to meet them. It was hard not to get infected by their musical enthusiasm and after a few listening sessions and some help of Fouk’s Daniel Leseman & Hans Peeman for the final mix-down.

Their ‘Different Planets’ EP sees the duo navigate between disco flavored house, dreamy electronics and old school Chicago influences. The remix is by none other than Belfast based DJ and founder of Body Fusion: Bobby Analog.

The title track is a warm house bumper with an Italo-tinged bassline, filtered leads and fuzzy Rhodes chords. Female chants running in the background and an ‘eyes-closed-hands-up’ break down give this track a proper summer feel-good attitude. 

Bobby Analog does a great job remixing ‘Different Planets’, flipping the original into a classic Chicago-tinged club track. Stabs, little synths licks and strings all give you that nod to a classic Chez & Trent production, whereas the clever bassline showcases a nice bit of Bobby’s own musical heritage.

The flip shows a deeper side of Makèz, with the synth heavy electronics of ‘Cosmic Symphony’ where a modulating Moog-like bassline and syncopated piano make for an uplifting atmosphere. The b-side is concluded by ‘Random Visits’; an arpeggio- infused tune with raw guitars and ditto percussion.

Puma & The Dolphin’s debut record, the Primitive EP, focuses on firedance grooves, exotic percussion along with a dub and post-punk approach and is coming out on Montreal's @chambrenoirerecords. Also included is a stunning remix by cult producer Michal Turtle. P&TD is a Bulgarian producer based in Sofia. 

The EP opens with this wild chugger. Layering jungle sounds with loose hand percussion, the mood is at the crossroads between Latin and oriental influences. As the track progresses, the rhythmic section is enriched by skippy snares and a variety of vocal samples, sweeps, and melodies, with undeniable firedance-inducing results.

Providing us with a fine dose of New York house pleasure once again, we have the third EP in the St. David trilogy, ‘Disco Jam’, released on Brooklyn's favourite party label ‘Let’s Play House’. Following on from his successful 2018 release, ‘House Jam’, this zesty record is equally as lively, fresh and fun. The track entitled ‘Sexy Funk 98’ is bursting with energy, rhythm and old school house grooves from the offset and we are delighted to hear such bubbling funky music from St. David whom we ca always rely on for a spirited slinky house track.

‘Sexy Funk 98’ - he couldn’t have given the track a more suitable name. The Italian MPC lover satisfies dancers with his high-tempo, floor-filling luxurious sounds, allowing us to give the summer a long kiss goodbye. We expect to be hearing this sleek track deep into the winter months as its vibrant early 90s house feels are able to bring summery flavours to any dancefloor, especially when the crowd is wanting that burst of sunshine. With releases on prestigious labels like Frole Records, Unknown Chicago and Underground Fundamentals its great to see the artist back with Nik Mercer and Jacques Renault of ‘Let’s Play House’.

How does a sexist society work? -  as usual, as it always happens in sects and totalitarian states. The pyramidal structure, on top of which there is a more or less charismatic sociopath, directly “under” it is a narrow layer close to the Master, enjoying nothing and no one (except the Master) unlimited power over the “base” of the pyramid: that is, over the bulk that makes up the group monopolist. This is kind of "Cascading of subordination" and is reflected in group and individual psychism as fear and hatred. Also, in the ideology of sexism, sexual characteristics have a decisive influence on the abilities, intelligence, morality, behavioral characteristics and character traits of an individual human personality; this ideology also includes ideas about the initial division of people into a higher (men) and lower (women) group, of which the first are the subjects and creators of civilization and culture and are called to dominate the latter. This kind of society fated to be racist, sexist and intolerant. This kind of society is fated to hate, envy and fear. We don't want to live in this kind of society.
"Women's Answer To Men's Failure" it's a story about jewish and muslim in mourning women in Palestine/Israel unstoppable fighting together for peace and against men stupidity/violence provided by the Lebanese born, Toulouse based artist Arabian Panther at his new 4 Tracks EP "Heart Filled With Sand" EP via Lyon's Blue Night Jungle imprint.
Beefy track a quirky twisted melody into a straight up peak time stomper which shakes the ear drums, keeping a flava of vocals from a documentary called "Les Guerrières de la paix" and a bassline which rivals the theme from Jaws in terms of creating tension the orient synthlines come and cuts like a chainsaw through hot butter. Cosmic Monkey its Latvian DJ/Producer who under his another moniker NEI , shares proper Techno/Electro beats since 1998' and he is next up on Seven Sisters Records, a label focusing on showcasing the best of Latvian underground music.
With this ebullient "Funk You Up" EP he brings the combination of a few styles with radical effect. Nothing is standard about its sound from the heavy broken beats to the thick and complex production.
Darker than the darkness and with menacing undertones, Cosmic Monkey delivers this thumping "Got Your Back" mix which would work well even on the hells dancefloor bringing break beat drums, toms and flange ridden hi hats to the fore before breaking down into an ridden synth groove which brings the fire to the dancefloor. As we descend into winter and the end of 2019, an EP that, like the shorter, overcast days, is chilly and stark, yet accented with rays of sun that crack through the clouds, glints of starlight, full-moon rises.

These five tracks—six for the digital version—come from ELUIZE, a Berlin-based Australian gifted at simmering minimal yet acerbic house potions over low heat, patiently coaxing them to a slow boil. Mischievous, creeping concoctions that approach and build sneakily, as layer upon layer is looped, expanded, condensed, dropped out, and slid back in.  Each is a beautifully musical piece, too, with as much evolving melody as hypnotizing groove.

Having become a member of the Moon Harbour agency and label family recently, Germany's mysterious Sable Sheep is back with a new four track EP that continues to explore his trademark tribal tinged tech house sound with great panache.  Sable Sheep is no stranger to success given the widespread deployment of his previous tracks like 'Painting My Fur', and that's a good job, because all of his latest missives are sure-fire dancefloor dynamite.

Upon Burning Skies is the opening track, and one that builds and builds in tension to an invisible peak that will have ravers on the edge of their feet as the tribal male chanting acts like a call to action above bouncing, buoyant kick drums and slick percussive details.  A dub version is also included in the package.

Torn To Pieces is another full-blooded groove that will lock you in from the very first rubbery kick and silvery hi hat ringlet. As they roll on next to each other without any friction at all, a knotted bassline and deft little synth stabs add some detail as a warm wind seems to howl in the background. Its stripped back but fills the airwaves and is the sort of physical track its impossible not to get carried away by.

Finally, Thy Suffer is another warm concoction of sound that Sable Sheep fills with rattling drum hits and sandy shakers. Some twitching alien sounds suggest the presence of life amongst the machines and the deep looping kicks help draw you in.

An EP produced with great precision restraint, Sable Sheep knows just how much to add into the without over doing things or allowing things to get stuck in a rut -- it's a perfect balancing act that is designed for maximum impact on the dancefloor.
