Deep-house hero Michele Lamacchia, widely known for his project Rhythm Of Paradise, but also for XPRESSION and KETAMA, inaugurates his brand new vinyl-only label, Aural Vision @aural-vision. He is dropping a beautiful EP under his Nu-Cleo alias, already seen on Chiwax. 

This debut release features 4 exciting, slamming deep house tracks with distinctive analog sounds and oldschool sonorities.

Premiere: Nu-Cleo - Spaces & Places [Aural Vision]

The Handy Records crew return once again with a stunning EP from none other Mr Bobby Cazanova; A1 is an absolute gem. Nostalgic, catchy, euphoric and all round feels. Just what we needed after the 2 year hiatus from nonsense. It’s a speedy emotive number with all the bells and whistles for a great time. Definitely one for the 6AM sunset. Following; the A2 is a sub aquatic bubbler. Low slung bass and rich strings lead this into a deep technical groover. Again Bobby has nailed the feeling of having heard this before but never quite like this. The A3 is something quite special. Acid lines and driving bass make this an absolute heater for the floor. On the flip we have another fast paced rhythm. This time capitalising on the darker side of Bobby’s mind. Between pulsating baselines and inquisitive synths there is an emotive and paced production that is sure to get people moving. Rounding off the EP is a darker piece. Glistening pads and pensive arpeggiation make this a slow but sure burner for the dance floor.

Melbourne based producer GREETINGS heads up Boots & Legs – an Italo focused label whose aesthetics float somewhere between yesterday and tomorrow – releasing records from Furor Exótica, Kayroy and more, and now he readies his Running Out Of Steam debut with four house and electro-fused dreamscapes.

Staying true to the label aesthetic of blending killer club grooves with introspective atmospherics, ‘ALONE’ is a cut of trance-licked house, M1 chords providing a disco-ball euphoria across the minimal, yet vibrant, soundscape. ‘Desires’ sees GREETINGS blend his admiration for Italo into a heavenly, 80s pop-ballroom experience designed for when the lights go on.

The B-side brings out the producer's electro influence; ‘That Was A Weird Summer’ is as Italo as it is otherworldly – a sound similar to what might be heard if aliens discovered disco – before ‘Don’t Die Wondering’ closes the curtain with a cut of stirring and transcendental analog-electro that's as rough as it is smooth.

‘Good Face’ is the new EP from PolyGlove which finds the duo channelling sounds from old school raves to dystopian Sci-Fi futures. At first the EP explores the darker side of these future visions but as the record progresses it harps back to a brighter optimistic past, a time before the world became so self aware.

Following on from their last release ‘Leisureplex’ the duo aimed for a grittier and more aggressive sound which was achieved thanks to the re-collaboration with mixing engineer Rían Trench (Leo Drezden, Solar Bears, Panikatax).

The EP also features a remix of 'Good Face' from Rain (Oisín McGovern). The mix hones in on the original songs grit while also introducing trippy syncopation to the rhythm section and atmospheric delays creating a dizzying merky terrain verging into a harder sounding Kraftwerk circa ‘Electric Cafe’.

Underground System returns to @razor-n-tape with the ‘Looking In EP’ -  a 5-track offering of fresh originals and remixes. Ranging from low-slung Balearic grooves, to driving left-field funk and urgent up-tempo backbeats, the record is a fine-tuning of the US sound, complete with their signature flute and synth soundscapes, driving percussion, and catchy offbeat vocal hooks. On the B-side, RNT mainstays Nenor and Clive From Accounts take two of the tunes into clubbier territory, with a pair of remixes that are primed for the dance floor.

This is the splendid deep follow up EP by our favorite Liverpool artist Petals In Sound. After her great label debut last summer where she already showed us her wonderful atmospheric electronic sound, she now continues on a journey through that same spaced-out house territory. “Dial Tone” and “Lush” are both laid back groovers that sooth every dancefloor and are perfect late, or better, early hours tunes to steer dancers gently towards sunrise and out of smoke filled clubs, homewards with warm musical memories of a danced and spaced out night.

“The Sea and Everything in It” is a personal fave here as it combines great percussive rhythms with her unique style, arpeggios and dark synths electronica, deep like a warm spring day. The outdoor raves will be a perfect setting for this one! Last we asked our other new label member Pete Bandit from Berlin to remix “Lush”. With his own debut “Wild Feelings” he already set the tone showcasing his expert percussive and driving house sound. Here again he turned the original into a loopy “New York House” style jam with cool funky drums that fit in perfectly with the other tracks and make this whole EP a tight and delightful package.
