Londoner Joe Milli joins the Faux Poly family this summer with his instantly classic EP Manifest Leisure. As a long-standing staple of Peckham's music scene, Joe has held down residencies at Tola, Balamii, Rinse FM, and now SWU.FM, along with hosting a packed out in-store party at Planet Wax earlier this year.

Joe's sound is based upon Techno and UK Funky through and through. His radio shows and DJ sets reflect an eclectic taste, branching confidently from these genres, perfectly encapsulated on this release.

Together at the end of 2023, all four tracks rely heavily on the Vermona Mono Lancet bass synth along with steady drum-tool like rhythm, always shining a light on the delivery: super playable club music that isn't overworked. Spanning Techno & Bass, there's a proper UK Funky groove embedded throughout the whole EP.

Council (@councilcouncilcouncil), a rising talent and bright light in the New York City underground, discovered her passion for electronic music while studying filmmaking in Europe. Initially experimenting with bedroom pop on Garageband as a teenager, she developed a deep-seated obsession with Ableton during university. Her formal training in music and voice has shaped her ability to craft pop-forward tracks featuring her distinctive vocals.

We're excited to welcome Council to the HOMAGE family for her second project, Fling. This five-track EP blends house and techno with her unique vocals, showcasing her knack for catchy melodies and dynamic arrangements. Each track is perfect for the dance floor and personal listening, with 'Memory' standing out for its crossover appeal. Rounding out the EP is a remix from Irish legend Dylan Forbes (@dylanforbesirl), who was once coined the undisputed Irish prog master.

Fling is set to release on Friday, September 27. Getcha ears round' it.

AGT Records is onto release 007 and it’s a certified killer.

In the early 2000’s KAELO and DJ Jet AKA Kaelo Gallagher and Jesse Goldfarb combined to create JK47. They produced and pressed their records out of their own pocket with no distribution, handing them to local record shops in and around Toronto. When the shops eventually closed the records found their way out into the world, leading us to today.

The Plastic Aviator EP was a passion project of the duo in 2005. Its influences stretch beyond any one era or genre and you really do get a taste of everything here. The balearic feel of the original mix (shoutout to Queen of the Worms on the guitar) is nicely balanced with the dub inflected UKG attitudes of the Scene Heads and Loopity Goofs Mix, while the previously unreleased Hernan Gutmer mix brings the EP to a deep and head-spinning close.

This is a record to be packed and played throughout the night and day, and we’re happy to have the chance to get it back onto turntables - all in good time.

Berlin-based Jacob Meehan and New York-based Physical Therapy join forces for an extra special collaboration on this latest release. 

"Deeesire" is such a ray of sunshine and has been a major hit on tour and in NYC as it’s playful and longing vocals work just as well spinning around in the dark as they do embracing the dawn.

Bouffant Bouffant was the natural choice for a remix, bringing the sounds of New Orleans to the mix with soaring brass and throbbing drums.

"Little Snack" shimmers and sparkles in its sonic texture while Peter Pressure (one of Physical Therapy’s many monikers) adds some disco vocal sexiness for his Cosmic Brownie Edit.
