Nathan Micay is pleased to present the next re-issue on Eternal Schvitz: Mouvement Perpetuel - Sexuel Mouvement, three incredible dance cuts written by Jerome ‘Pacman’ Elia. Originally released on Obsession Music in 1997, the A-side went on to become a cult favourite after appearing on Sasha & Digweed’s North Exposure Expeditions mix in 1999. Since then, copies of the original 12-inch record have sold for astronomical sums. Now, over 20 years later, this gem is lovingly restored and available to a new generation of DJ’s and music lovers.

As always, Schvitz gives back. From any profits raised, 60% of the cut to the artists and ensuring their credits are front and centre. The remaining 40% of profits will go to aequa, a Berlin-based collective with a focus on empowerment of women, trans and non- binary folks through gatherings for interpersonal exchange. On the outer fringes of the universe, they gathered to plot their takeover of planet earth. While human beings struggled to detect extra-terrestrial life, they had observed the actions and behaviours of human life for many years — identifying their weaknesses and their hardships. Much planning and preparation had been made for their journey, they just had to make it there in one piece.

Magic Carpet, the Lisbon-based imprint that's brought us releases from Baby Rollen, Phyzical Flex and Ramu, now returns with instalment number four: a four-track ride into the cosmos from Stockholm/Glasgow producer Planar Traits. Packed full of warm subs, driving breaks and intergalactic melodies, his debut is a welcome edition to a label that's fast becoming our go-to for mystical, otherworldly sonics.

7 years in the making (and the 24th release on her own label) Paramida's debut EP is here. This huge 12” contains two never heard before cuts, ‘Dream Ritual’ and ‘French House 2000’, backed up by deadly remixes from the Octo Octa & Eris Drew and Youandewan, and in ritualistic style, is being released in a divine ceremony coinciding with the lunar cycle. Exclusive: Escape Artist - The Dream We All Share

The 30th release on Phonica Records comes from Melbourne based artist Escape Artist, who’s been known for genre-blending releases on labels such as Kalahari Oyster Cult or Salt Mines. The four-tracker Energy Breakthrough, consisting out of three original takes and a remix from Adam Pits for the EP’s title track, takes the same line as his previous works, namely it combines Breakbeat, House and nuances of Techno and Acid resulting in a homogenous and well-balanced musical approach meant to aim at the dance floors. The B1, The Dreams We All Share, wins listeners over its addictive Breakbeat-infused bass line, which is enriched with spaced-out synth melodies and intriguing 303 Acid bleeps and squiggles. The latter features drag one deeper and deeper into the tracks’s hypnotic vibe before the bleeps culminate in a short but effective lazer-esque break to then release its energy and make listeners drift into the (club) night.

Following releases from Dublin’s Fio Fa & naive label head Violet, LA-based Cromie & Timedance affiliate rRoxymore and various artists compilation Visions Vol. 1, Holly Lester prepares the next chapter of dualistic bleeps, bloops and blends from Utrecht producer Tifra on Duality Trax.

Re-imagining vintage club sounds through a contemporary lens, Tifra is no stranger to stretching the electronic music template into new forms and ideas. His left-field house and old-school breaks have found their way onto Gestalt Records and Rough Recordings, and here the producer turns in three cuts of blissed-out electronica, hedonistic progressive and jungle-run club with its sights firmly fixated front left, complete with a wicked remix from one of modern dance music's most reliable names - Roza Terenzi.

‘Plastic Replicant’ is a vocal-laced electro-house roller that takes inspiration from the golden-era of 90s electronic music and fuses it with the organic, multi-genre blends of the current gen. The ravey continuum is laced with high-frequency vocal stabs and deep basslines designed for a heads-down approach on the dancefloor, before ‘Entomology’ captures the playful side of the club with its shape-shifting acid-lines, trance-licked melodies and kaleidoscopic blend of colour, feeling and mood.

Out of the club and onto the beach, ‘International Waters’ is a trip-hop inspired, downtempo dub that will delight ambient and laid-back electronic-revelers with its chirpsing birds and aqua-like aesthetic, before Roza keeps the dualism alive with a stripped-back jungle flip of the original; the perfect score for the perfect daydream.
