Let Angel Heredia be your guide as the ‘Take A Trip’ EP invites clubbers to catch some rays late in the calendar. The Spanish producer and DJ has taken his bag of beats across the country before letting the world in on his turntable secrets and style, only aligning himself with the best labels and reaping the rewards of A-list support as a result. Alongside his role as label A&R, Heredia is ready to roll again as a Clarisse artist, with the ‘Groovapaluzza’ and ‘Bang Bang’ EPs already in his back catalogue. 
 
With some garage-style skip in his step, Heredia only travels first class for ‘Take A Trip’. The bassline dip that runs throughout is killer, and the snatches of female vocal pleasure are at one with the sun and sea the track has packed its bag for. Throwing in some classic organ bass sounds as well for good measure and with Heredia temporarily getting a touch spikier on the breakdown, ‘Take A Trip’ has got that essential Clarisse holiday hotspot vibe to it. 
 
Featuring a sideshow of beats and pieces propping up a straightforwardly direct dose of the deep and funky, ‘Dozze’ invests in more low end melody, but one which steps like bare feet on hot poolside concrete. Sleekly going about its business, this 4x4 rollout is almost unaware of the percussive tricks, echoes, stutters, beatboxes and fine slivers of exotic vocals Heredia liberally sprinkles into the mix like he’s putting toppings on a huge scoop of ice cream. Crucially these are just the sort of techniques to catch your ear and convert your position to one of appreciation in front of the DJ booth. Release #111 is win-win-win.

Astropical Tapes have been putting out great music since 2015. Straight out of Poland, label boss Marcin Krupa has created a great vibe around this vinyl-only outfit. Other than the high quality of music they release, the artwork to each and every release also matches that high standard. An attractive trait of the label is the diversity of genres they are home to, ASTR001 consisted of some amazing electronic sounds an EP we definitely recommend checking out! Then ASTR003 saw some Hip-Hop flavour introduced to the scene along with deep house vibes which then followed into the next release. Which now brings us to ASTR006 with the sound that everyone loves, disco house.

Brand new material coming out of Astropical Tapes in the form of ‘Spring Edits EP]’ from disco house’s upcoming star Tech Support. This vinyl will be a hot release with only limited copies being made available. The EP contains 4 wonderfully produced disco edits ranging from smooth groovers to dancefloor thumpers, today we have the pleasure in premiering the first track on the release ‘Taking It Back’. We always enjoy listening to Tech Support’s signature percussive drums and this is where this great track starts off at before that beautiful classic disco sample starts to filter into our ears. The bells and stabs floating around give the track great warmth and width, and perfectly compliment Air Power’s soft vocals as they cut through the mix. But perhaps the most satisfying thing about this piece of music is the divine cinematic strings that uplift the whole song
