To kick things off they’ve invited one of the smoothest cats to ever do it- Seafoam. West Coast goodness in its finest form. If you’ve been digging for deep house then you’ll have certainly had your ears graced by the airy, brain soothing frequencies of Brian Cavender at some point or another.

As prolific as they come, it was no surprise he had buckets of gems to dig through and choose from. Some old, some new… Four of which have been selected for FRESC01.

Originally released 25 years ago and long coveted on Discogs, this sought-after EP finally returns to the shelves, breathing new life into a classic of the tech house underground.

Haris made his mark in the late ’90s and early 2000s with releases on iconic labels like Oblong and his own imprint, Laus Records, collaborating with scene heavyweight, Terry Francis. Renowned for his mastery of rolling, groove-led tech house, Haris crafted a sound that remains timeless and endlessly playable.

Each of the four tracks delivers a distinct flavour for different dancefloor moments, offering real depth and versatility across the EP. Expect snappy tribal percussion, eerie synths, haunting vocals and deep, driving basslines - all the essential ingredients for a late-night shimmy.

Continuing the VA series with different artists from around the globe the fourth instalment has landed. Night. The entrance to the Tavda Caves is veiled in smoke from campfires and stars reflected on stone. Here, for centuries, the shamans of Altai performed their rituals — beating drums, summoning the spirits of rivers and mountains. The stone halls became temples, where the echo repeated every word, turning it into an incantation. The Tavda Caves are one of the legendary places of Altai — hollow mountains that still carry the resonance of ancient voices. Hunters and shamans once lived here, nomads found shelter in the darkness, and now those who seek the earth’s energy come to listen. The stone keeps the breath of thousands of years, and if you stay still, you can hear the music of darkness and the echo of light.

This fifth chapter of Mountain Altai VA sounds like an ancient ritual, where each track is a separate spell.

This part of the collection, created in celebration of the third anniversary of [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB], continues our sonic pilgrimage through Altai — taking the listener beneath the earth, to the place where everything begins. A story about depth. About how, even under layers of stone, you can still hear the light.
