Zavrzlama is a Balkan music collective based in Tucson, AZ. We share Balkan music and songs + dances through musical jams, workshops, and shows. If you play an instrument and want to join, reach out. 

An interactive and inclusive experience through time and space where the dancers and the musicians move together in alignment with the subtle pulse of the Cosmos, and the observer becomes a part of the performance. Earlier songs are my experiment with combining traditional Balkan folk tunes with electronically generated textures.

I produce @thefutureofwhat, a weekly radio show and podcast about the music industry (hosted by @killrockstars president, Portia Sabin), and recently finished co-producing another podcast about Bratmobile's "Pottymouth," entitled @girl-germs. When I'm not editing podcasts, I'm gearing up to release more music from friends through my label @lowatt, or I'm producing new material for my musical solo project, @oxfist.
