Japanese Cartoon is the brainchild of Grammy Award Winning Musician Wasalu Jaco more popularly known as Lupe Fiasco together with Graham Burris, Matt Nelson & Le Messie. Japanese Cartoon was brought together as a physical manifestation for all things of the leftfield nature and an experimental outlet to mix and mash genre defying musical compositions. Wasalu brought up as the son of a Black Panther activist has always had a strong political message behind his body of works, this together with the Noam Chomsky inspired Anarchist antics of Le Messie's (Creator of street wear brand FALSE) creative mind create a strong controversial group of musical rebels. 

FALSE Sounds is the independent home to the avant-garde, leftfield and straying sound. A shelter for up and coming artistes that provoke the lines of the genre defying reality.

FALSE Sounds is fronted by Le Messie the brainchild behind the phenomenal FALSE brand & it’s network of subsidiaries. His first musical works set the international stage on the Grammy Nominated album by Lupe Fiasco “The Cool”. He wrote and produced alongside Lupe Fiasco on the albums most leftfield track “Fighters Feat. Matthew Santos”. He is currently one fourth of controversial post punk electro band “Japanese Cartoon”, where he writes and produces alongside frontman Wasalu Jaco (aka Lupe Fiasco).

The FALSE Sounds line-up currently consists of Le Messie’s solo project Death By Disco, up and coming Chicago lyricist S-Preme & 3 time Singapore DMC Champion Inquisitive.

Art of Ballistics is a Trans-Pacific electronic duo made up of two former El Pasoans, whom currently reside in South Korea and Portland, Oregon. The group has released two EPs on Lowatt (a label run by one of the members), both of which garnered high praise from local weeklies and public radio. Nationally, the group scored positions on CMJ's hip-hop and electronic charts, and was put into heavy rotation several large markets.
