Considered one of the most talented artists of his generation, Fausto (SXDNS064) has long been recognized for his unapologetically bold approach to electronic music, crafting pieces that hit with visceral intensity and raw, instinctual energy. His latest EP, “K-Man,” released via Nativo (the label he co-founded), marks a subtle but compelling evolution in his sound. While staying true to his signature physicality, the producer ventures deeper into experimental territories, blending elements of IDM and psychedelia into his club-ready framework. The three original cuts balance intricate sound design with rhythmic urgency, proving that even while exploring new textures, Fausto never loses his grip on the dance floor’s pulse.

Premiered here, Roliva’s rework of the title track takes Fausto’s original and reshapes it into a blistering, acid-laden weapon. Roliva (SXDNS379) strips down the elements and reassembles them with a fiercer, more primal edge, amplifying the theme’s intensity while preserving its muscular core. Jagged synth lines slice through pounding percussion, creating a relentless groove built for dark, sweat-drenched rooms. Yet, beneath the aggression, there’s a calculated precision – a reminder that even at its most untamed, this is music with purpose. Roliva’s remix doesn’t just reinterpret Fausto’s vision; it elevates it, making for a thrilling addition to an already powerful release.

They effortlessly blend slow-burning tribal techno with the raw pulse of new beat, all wrapped in an early techno shell. Imagine dancing barefoot in a ritual under a disco eclipse. From one of the most exquisite vinyl collections on the Spanish east coast comes a selector with true presence. Size M, also known as Jorge Tornin, brings more than two decades of experience to this Feincast and moves fluidly between disco, electro, and EBM with instinctive precision.

Based in Benidorm, he is not just a DJ and producer but also a videomaker and a tireless activist for quality music. As co-founder of Espacio CIELO Records alongside Parissior, he helps shape the label’s visual identity and curates fresh talent, while also delivering standout remixes like his 2024 take on Cosmosolar that has been lighting up dancefloors across the globe.

His roots run deep. He founded collectives such as Almamater and 207 Crew and has played across half of Spain, including festivals like Electrobeach, Menor Rock Festival, and the Spanish National Performing Arts Awards. Known for turning forgotten classics into timeless tools, he is also preparing his debut EP for release on Espacio CIELO.

This Feincast captures the full spectrum of his sound. Confident, stylish, and grounded in deep vinyl culture.



FEINCAST XLV: Size M

In recent years, Blackploid has come to be one of Central Processing Unit’s signature artists. The German producer has averaged more than a record a year for the Sheffield imprint since he first landed on CPU in 2021. This prolific run continues with Cosmic Drama, Blackploid’s second LP for the label. The album takes the baton from its predecessor Enter Universe in style, delivering twelve tracks of top-quality machine-funk that draw down from electro’s classic artists while also imbuing proceedings with a playfulness that very much gives things a signature Blackploid-ish flavour.

Cosmic Drama sets its stall out from the off. The opening run of ‘Alien’, ‘World Construction’ and ‘Virtual State’ all deliver piston-snapping beats which anchor pleasing melanges of B-movie synth lines. Alongside this, Blackploid adds little flourishes which add buoyancy to each joint - a syncopated bassline reminiscent of I-f’s late-90s classic ‘Space Invaders Are Smoking Grass’, crackling robo-voiced commands, skittering synth chords which wash across the mix and so on. It’s the work of someone completely at ease with their craft, comfortable enough to take risks without upsetting the apple cart of their sound’s core appeal.

Blackploid’s idiosyncratic approach to synth work is something which distinguishes Cosmic Drama from the pack. Electro has long been a genre which prides itself on innovation on the keys, but few producers are willing to push their sonics as far as Blackploid does - take the seasick churn of pads and processors on ‘Multiverse’, for instance, or the way John Carpenter-esque single-note lines dovetail with gurgling synthetic pulses and eerie, spacious chords on ‘The Lab’, a highlight of Cosmic Drama’s midsection.

Cosmic Drama skips along at club tempo throughout - every one of these joints will get bodies moving in dark rooms across the galaxy. However, even when tracks maintain their single-minded pursuit of machine-funk perfection, they never forget to deliver on the hooks. Blackploid has lead lines (and counter-melodies) to burn here, and each track knots them together in ever-more intriguing ways as they plough onwards. Drexciyan heads will be thrilled by the sci-fi delights of ‘Species’, for instance, while Blackploid brings melodies as cold as they are catchy on the aptly-named ‘Polar Dunes’. By the time Cosmic Drama hits upon the vroom-vrooming bassline line of closer ‘Contact’, you’re fully enthralled to the album’s combination of broken-beat heft and synthetic melodiousness.

Behind Plaisir de France stands Julien Barthe — producer, arranger, and DJ — spreading musical pleasure across France and the world since 1993. A true craftsman of the French electronic scene, he’s known for his elegant blend of pop, dance, and club culture. In 2023, he celebrated 20 years of creation with a monumental 20-track album featuring 17 iconic French voices, including Barbara Carlotti, Bertrand Belin, Arnold Turboust, Valli, Alex Rossi, and Régina Demina. His music has also inspired remixes by Damon Jee, Tim Paris, Badknife, Polo Corp (Polo & Pan), Rework, and more. Parallel to this, he continues to develop his other project, SLOVE, with Léo Hellden, whose third album, Le Fly, was released in 2024.

With "French Pleasure", Plaisir de France drops a three-track house EP crafted for the dancefloor and DJs alike. These tracks are built as tributes to the timeless 90s club sets — progressive, filtered, and euphoric — yet infused with today’s sonic textures.

Drama: a subtle underground anthem, stripped-down yet powerful, echoing endless nights and secret clubs.

French Frog: peak-time energy, rising tension — a dancefloor weapon built for ecstatic moments.

Whispers of Magic: nostalgic, filtered, and filled with love. A smooth progressive groove that invites intimacy and slow-burning dance.

These tracks are made to lose track of time, to get lost in the movement — with pleasure as the only compass. Familiar on purpose, effective by design: this is old-school house reimagined for now.

Plaisir de France - French Frog

The track 'Ghost Lover' by @zimmermusic  & Sébastien Boucher is part of EMO Dance Vol.1,  the first compilation from the @esmimomento label. 

The release is composed by five tracks that lay the foundation of Es Mi Momento's sonic identity: from slow, dark indie dance to fast, radiant trance, with vocal-driven melodies tinged with 80s influences.

It’s more than a compilation. It’s a manifesto.
