As The Digital Drug launches into their opener, You Gotta Know, you quickly realize that something is very different about this band. Big beefy riffs explode right from the start. The drums propel you into the song like sitting in the back of a roller coaster launching into its first down hill run. The bass and keys are hitting in all of the right spots. Then comes the vocals, ripping through the wall of sound with a primal scream full of life’s frustrations.  This is something different. This is pure, unfiltered rock-n-roll.

The Digital Drug is a 6-piece rock band hailing from Nashville, TN who is quickly changing the musical landscape. Not only are they mashing up the classical vintage rock vibes with the huge wall of sound of modern rock, but they are also reaching out to other bands to help anyway possible.  They firmly believe that all musicians and artists are in this together.

As their performance ends with their blistering anthem, Bar Room Heart Throb, one can’t help wanting to know more about this band. As you wipe off the baby powder residue from the explosion of a guitar crashing into the stage, you know that you have witnessed something special.  With a perfect marriage of rock’s vintage years with the new and a stage show that would make the Who proud, The Digital Drug is destined for great things.
