SWAMPS is our most ambitious natural environment release since Thunderstorm Chaser, recorded across two field expeditions to Florida over the course of three years.

Field recordist Matt Mikkelsen spent long stretches studying the behaviour of each sub ecosystem, capturing wild alligators, shifting insect beds, wading birds and long evolving ambiences that can only be gathered through time and patience.

The result is a detailed, coherent and realistic portrait of a habitat that very few recordists attempt to document at this depth.
