The House of Jed is the solo project of drummer Jarrod Gollihare. He lives in a glass and cement box overlooking a river and some factories. That's also where his studio is. He writes pop songs about comet strikes and pretty girls and other natural disasters with good beats. He plays in several other bands, but in *this* one he gets to call all the shots and make all the sounds...for better and worse.

I sing with Gaga, Iggy Azalea and Tom Jones. This page is what happens when they're not around :)

Sam Paul Robinson is musician, composer and producer based in Oxford, UK.

Fresh out of university, Sam cut his teeth composing tracks for production music libraries; soundtracking various episodes of America’s Next Top Model and licensing his musical creations to organisations such as Saatchi & Saatchi and Virgin Money.

He then went on to drum in the band Is Bliss, touring across Europe and supporting prestigious acts including The Cure and The Jesus and Mary Chain.

After honing his singer-songwriter chops during lockdown, Sam released a number of topical singles under the alias of No Deal Disco, garnering support from BBC Radio 6.

Currently, Sam is dipping his toes into the world of podcast production.

Rael Jones is an Emmy nominated composer and multi-instrumentalist. He created the soundtrack for the Fox Searchlight romantic thriller, "My Cousin Rachel", starring Rachel Weisz and Sam Claflin, directed by Roger Michell, earning him a Discovery of The Year nomination at the World Soundtrack Awards. Rael’s most recent work has included scoring Shoplifters of the World for West End Films and the BBC drama "The Salisbury Poisonings".

Rael writes the music for Hulu & ITV’s series "Harlots" set in the 18th Century brothels of London. The boldly anachronistic soundtrack mixes rock and electronica, reflecting the present-tense experiences and rebellious nature of the women depicted in the programme.

Rael’s score to "Suite Française", which was directed by Saul Dibb and stars Michelle Williams, Kristen Scott Thomas, and Sam Riley was nominated for a Primetime Emmy in 2017. The film is based on the Irène Némirovsky novels about the German occupation in France.

His other scores include "Supersonic", the Oasis documentary from the producers of the Oscar-winning “Amy” , the TV adaptation of Zadie Smith’s "NW" directed by Saul Dibb, the black comedy "Ill Behaviour" from writer Sam Bain, the coming-of-age drama "Kids in Love", starring Cara Delevingne and Will Poulter, and the feature documentary Still the Enemy Within about the British Mining strikes of the 1980s.

Rael has also contributed additional music for the four series of the BBC’s hit drama, "Sherlock", working with composers David Arnold and Michael Price. He was nominated for Emmys for his work on the series in both 2016 and 2017. Other additional composition credits include Everest, Horrid Henry: The Movie and Island.

Known for being creatively adept, technically savvy, and flexible, Rael has adopted many roles on feature films including: music producer, orchestrator, music editor, music programmer, and session musician. Rael worked on Tom Hooper’s film adaptation of Les Miserables as additional orchestrator, music editor and music programmer, for which he won a Golden Reel Award at the 2013 MPSE Awards. Other notable film credits include Steve Jobs, The Danish Girl, Alan Partridge, The Inbetweeners Movie and Hyde Park on Hudson (as Music Editor), and Wild Target and Wild Child (as Music Producer).

Rael has a very strong musical background, rooted in classical training, which began at the age of 6. He graduated from the Tonmeister Course with First Class Honours, winning both available prizes for composition. His writing stems from improvisation and live performance, and he is a highly accomplished player of many instruments, from piano, guitars and drums, to quirkier items like nyckelharpa, hurdy gurdy and musical saw.

Never one to shy away from the limelight, Rael regularly plays gigs around the UK, including touring and TV appearances as a guitarist with Guillemots front man, Fyfe Dangerfield, as well as with his own band Thumpermonkey. He has also appeared on BBC One’s Junior Apprentice, as a composer working with the finalists.

LESS IS LESS - MORE OR LESS

Duggie Fields's dayglo post-pop paintings are instantly recognizable. Despite his concern with the identity-dissolving impact of mass media on the contemporary psyche, Fields manages to sustain a coherent signature style that is as flamboyantly dysfunctional as it is cool and simple. Applying overdriven colour and stripped down cartoon-ish drawing to produce mutant variations on classical poses and genres, Fields' work scrambles categories, freaked out and flatline, delirious and deadpan all at once.

Combining elements from disparate cultural and historical vocabularies, Fields' paintings look like stained glass windows for some cathedral of modern Media. The artist's manic imagination throws up deranged icon paintings, casual violence erupting out of ritual and kitsch. Promiscuous and dangerously volatile, Field's multiverse is a place where ballroom dancing and comic book mutilation intersect. Nothing in Western culture is safe from Fields, for as the artist argues in his 'MAXIMALism' manifesto of 1995, digital media has rendered history part of a continuous present.

Fields confronts us with the (sur)reality of an infinitely malleable, perpetually mediated world. The new media of the digital age allow 'infinite opportunities for new synthetic constructs', writes Fields. 'We are of necessity the Primitives of a New Sensibility, born in the Virtual Age.' Fields graduated from Chelsea School of Art in London in 1968. After Minimal, Conceptual and Constructivist phases he arrived at a more hard-edge post-Pop figuration. In 1983 the Shiseido Corporation in Tokyo created a gallery specially for his show, and Fields and his work were featured in a simultaneous national television, magazine, billboard and subway advertising campaign. He started working with digital media in the late 1990's describing his work in progress as Maximalist.

The Greasy Slicks are a grungy, psychedelia-laced blues rock three-piece made up of Jack Kendrew on guitar and vocals, drummer and singer Rian O’Grady, and Nathan Rasdall on bass.

Off the back of the band’s recent debut album release and European/UK headline tours including festival appearances, you can expect to hear new material accompanied by more live dates in 2017.

In the age of the throwaway band, The Greasy Slicks truly bring something different to the table.

I write songs about home.
