"Man about town" - I like nothing better than going to see live musicians, bands and DJ's. I have been going to gigs for years and don't see that stopping anytime soon*. 
I play music alongside Bill Spice, as AmbiDECKstrous, and we play monthly in Leith Depot, on a Saturday, and The Lioness of Leith on a Friday. I tend to focus on Cosmic Disco, but also play classic disco, rave anthems, hip hop, funk and soul, plus dust off a few old albums and pick out some choice cuts from time to time. We've played at Kelburn Garden Party, and Audio Soup Festival, as well as private parties...but not during 2020.

I would say I’m from the school of house, with an introduction to clubbing in Glasgow from around 1997 at nights like Pressure at the Arches, Relief at Alaska and the famed Harri &amp; Domenic regulars at the Sub Club. 

Labels like Paper Recordings, Glasgow Underground and Soma Records really moulded my love of house/techno and almost 25 years Djing, I feel that often that sound still remains in a lot of my sets, even if disguised as disco or something a little more leftfield. With a love of synth, well produced percussion and anything that can lock you in a groove I’m not too fussy about genre.

Spending many years in Aberdeen led to me taking residency along with Chris Knox at the regular Metropolis nights, which in addition to the regular residents nights saw me warm the house for guests such as Dave Clarke, Surgeon, FC Kahuna, Justin Robertson, Felix Da Housecat, Miss Kitten, Billy Nasty and Claude Young. Working though many bar residencies has also provided a platform for more experimental sets, with a more downtempo sound.

Currently producing dreamy, hypnotic, blissed out electronic music under my Theta Waves moniker.

I'm currently one of the residents of the subSine | Sessions, and present the monthly subSine | Sessions show on Glasgow's own Buena Vida Radio. 

I like to keep things moving and I’m a fan of contrast, believing that every set should tell a story, not necessarily have beginning, middle and end but be the type of story that you would want to read again.

The Warriors are  forged from an alliance of transatlantic low-fi fanatics and leftfield DJ / Producers. Projecting an amalgamation of Chemical Beats, broken beat, jazz, downtempo, house, techno, electronica, noise and psyche, their unusual sound, whether laid back, or dance floor oriented, could quite easily come from a dystopic future where truly bad taste is outlawed.
