The journey of Hug Records started six months ago and we are delighted that we had already five amazing artists contributing to our project. @thomas-gaarthuis was one of the first artists to commit to this back in July. We decided to open this year with a beautiful edit of the Fugees from him. We usually check with the original artists before releasing edits, but neither Wyclef Jean nor his ageny headmusic replied to our email. We love the edit though and we decided to release it nevertheless. However, it is on donation basis and you can decide yourself how much you want to pay. 100% of the income from this track will go to our charity partner Love Foundation. Love Foundation will use this money for its water development project in Kenia and you can read all about them and the project here: www.love-foundation.org/about We are already looking forward to the next steps on our journey and wish you a great start in the new year. The remix story starts with the Bird and the Human. They discover that they can interact with one another and start to benefit from each other. Contentedness is spreading and they both put lots of energy in this connection. Its a peaceful giving and receiving, a considerate sharing and caring.

Bow Miller (1975) won his first dj contest when he was 14 back in the late eighties -but it was not before 2012 he began to be real active on the danish underground scene. Playing alongside Be Svendsen (DK), Satori (NL), Kenneth Bager (DK) among others Bow Miller is not an unknown name on the international scene of slow house. Bow Miller has an addiction for edits and bootlegs. His widely known edit of Cornelis Vreeswijk is already a classic banger and is being rotated on radios around the world. On the Danish National Radio P3 Bow Miller has been played so much that they gave him the knick name “King of Bedouin Boogie”. 

Bow is the one half of the dj duo Angebot. The dj duo's other half is Bow's good friend and music connaisseur Backhaus.
Angebot is the result of their common interest and passion for deep, slow house-music with ethnic melodies. See more info about Angebot on their own profile.
