Track written by SamTilley. This track sparked from a little hook thought up between driving through the Australian landscapes for work . Sitting on a rough recording for a couple of months, it wasn't till Sam showed a friend that it started to become what it is today. The writing comes out of some recent moves made by Sam to leave the brisk stones of Melbourne to be more coastal.

Junior Empire today share ‘Decide’, the perfect follow-up to the infectious debut cut ‘West Coast’ which flew to Number 1 on Hype Machine, amassing over half a million plays across streaming services in its short two month lifespan.

'We wrote decide when we were in a period of uncertainty and confusion which sometimes feels like everyday.  It's about following the heart when your heads a mess'

The London based 5 piece band plan to release the EP later this year. Junior Empire is Jack Balfour Scott, Joey Arnold Zapata, Diego Belmonte, Hannah van den Brul and Jordan Grispino.

Decide

Emmecosta had a particularly busy 2015. After breaking through with debut single Brontos which Clash accurately described as ‘post-club’, the trio from Gothenburg have been paving their own soundtrack to that time when it’s too late to go to bed, but too early to get up.
 
Then end of 2015 saw the guys release Snowboy, followed by being asked to open for Chimes and playing a slot at the Rockaway Beach Festival alongside Young Fathers and Ghostpoet. The stage was seemingly set.
 
Emmecosta's new present His Power Of Youth might be going for "Post-club tropical indie soul”. And why shouldn’t they… After all it’s 21st century where the sonic world is their creative oyster. Start with London Bass artists Belgrave and NOVAA, then combine the production of Mount Kimbie and Gold Panda and you’ll see what platform we’re on here. There are elements of James Blake’s usage of sonic space in a relaxed manner, and topped with Josef Salvat’s more acoustic details of the Hustler-esque pulsating backbone of the production. It’s really, really good…

Berkeley-based group Bows is the brainchild of Kaila McIntyre-Bader and Luke Bace. The night before flying out to New York for several CMJ showcases with their other band (Big Tree), Kaila fell off her bike and broke BOTH her elbows (hence the band name). Luke rushed her to the ER where she promptly received double casts, and the next morning they flew across the country. When they returned, Kaila was unable to play piano, so she started messing around with some new sounds on her computer. She asked Luke if he could replicate them with his synthesizers, and he accepted the challenge. As Kaila's arms slowly healed, Luke worked on developing a whole new world of ear candy, and Bows was born.
