I thrive on reading the energy of a crowd and tailoring the music to fit the vibe, time and place whether spinning at underground venues, high-end fashion shows, intimate weddings, or bigger festival crowds. DJ Uncle Mike is from New York City. He’s an Aries. He likes traveling, great food, classic American cars and chill time on the beach.

Staying away (far away) from the usual mix of current hits/Hip Hop/new R&B/EDM, New York City based DJ Uncle Mike plays a unique and eclectic mix of ‘Vintage Music’ including Rock & Roll, New Wave, Disco, Motown, Classic Rock, Punk, Funk, Surf, Reggae, Metal, Bubblegum, Ska, Soul, Rat Pack and more from the ‘40s, ‘50s, ‘60s, ‘70s, ‘80s, ‘90s and beyond. 

His unique DJ style has brought him around the world and around the block, spinning music for fun crowds in New York City, London, Miami Beach, Ireland, St Barths, Hollywood, Brooklyn, Las Vegas, Brazil, Montauk, Salt Lake City, Wales, Austin, Madrid, The Hamptons, Vietnam and even New Jersey. 

As a resident DJ at the original legendary Bungalow 8 in NYC, he had a drink named after him. The Uncle Mike was listed on the Bungalow 8 cocktail menu.

He was a resident DJ at No. 8 in NYC, where he was also the Music Curator of The Rec Room and curated the clubs 8000 plus vinyl record collection. He was known to DJ legendary celebrity filled all vinyl sets there. 

Currently, DJ Uncle Mike is a resident DJ at Brooklyn Bowl in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, spinning his family friendly “DayCare MoshPit” set on Saturday afternoon/evenings there for over ten years.

DJ Uncle Mike has opened for concerts for Gloria Gaynor, Elvis Costello/The Roots, The Hellacopters, The Meat Puppets, Frank Ocean and Toots and the Maytals.

DJ Uncle Mike has DJ’d parties for Burton Snowboards, Calvin Klein, Elton John, Ferrari, GAP/Lindsay Lohan, Bob Gruen, Gucci, Guns N Roses, Make A Wish Foundation, Saturday Night Live, Tommy Hilfiger and also movie premier after parties for Batman ‘Dark Knight’, ‘Bourne Identity’, ‘Factory Girl’, ‘Gravity’, ‘Poseidon’, ‘Killing Them Softly’, cast party for Motown The Musical and countless others.
