David Hammond, known by his stage name Solis [US], is a Madison, Wisconsin-based producer specializing in deep progressive house. Supported by Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, Sasha, Paul Van Dyk, Nick Warren, John Digweed, Guy Mantzur, Gai Barone, DJ Ruby, K Loveski, Proff, Dmitry Molosh, Hobin Rude, Jaytech, NOIYSE PROJECT, Nicolas Viana, and others. His sound often carries an uplifting melodic quality, shaped by his early musical journey as a bassist at age 15, later transitioning into jazz and lead guitar.
