DJ Cherrywater, also known as Fabian Latka, draws inspiration from the idyllic utopian surroundings of his home in the Black Forest. He brings a mix of house, electro and techno elements to the dancefloor, infused with warm organic sounds.

The Nummer zu Platz (Nr. z. P.) is an institution of the Initiative Bielefelder Subkultur e. V. (IBS). It offers space to all those urban art and cultural forms that are given insufficient space in Bielefeld. Central and decisive is the promotion of subcultural, authentic and progressive creative areas.

Aaron Hedges comes from a family of music. His parents met in a gay disco that used to be a church in Seattle. He grew up listening to their disco records and was constantly introduced to new music, as his father became an audio/visual librarian. In the 1990s he discovered the illegal rave scene. Whether it was catching Donald Glaude dj a beach sunrise set or smoky nights in acid house domainted warehouse parties, Aaron was there dancing every weekend. He started to experiment with dj’ing after he bought his first mixer w/ a 12 second sampler, decks, and effects.

Aaron studied both Psychology and Music at George Washington University. He started dj’ing regularly at Cobalt on Monday’s for their drag show and later Sunday nights. He later did a weekly party at DC’s notorious Pearl in Adams Morgan. Aaron played across the city, from illegal parties to some of the biggest venues like the Velvet at National Ballroom and Tracks nightclub.

After the frustration of not being able to push his career further, Aaron started his own label, District of Corruption, in 2002 with a bang. His original track, “Watching Me”, a gritty post 9/11 techno track with vocal commentary about a coming surveillance state was licensed by techno legend Jeff Mills for his “Exhibitionist” dj/live audio/visual project. 

With both inspiration and motivation, he said good-bye to his friends and family in Washington, DC in 2004  and made the 5000-mile move to Berlin. With his laptop, music, and purpose in mind; Aaron knew that is where he had to be if he wanted things to happen. It was here that District of Corruption expanded working with musical talent like Akiko Kiyama, Staffan Linzatti, Mano Le Tough, Ed Davenport/Inland, Efdemin, Peter Grummich, Sweet ‘n Candy, Nima, Dilo, and many others.

Aaron has played all across Berlin in Panorama Bar/Berghain, Maria, Pfefferbank, Kinzo, Arena, Ballhaus Ost/Im, Bar25, Chalet, Katerholzig and Club der Visionaere. He’s also played in other international locations such as Paris, London, and Cape Town. 

After over a decade of label management, he decided to focus more on his first love - music composition and performance. The last years of covid shutdown has been a year for introspection. Rather than succumbing to boredom it was time to level up his production and music composition skills with online courses.

Aaron has continued to release original music with Traum Schallplatten, is planning a new regular party in Berlin with friend Simon Beeston, has a forthcoming remix of dub techno artist, Echosub, and continues to release new bootleg edits on soundcloud.

Delta Division is the next evolution of the artist formerly known as Giordano, whose releases on Answer Code Request, Voitax, and beyond were marked by an immersive, textural approach to techno. Now, under a new moniker, the project enters a more refined phase, one that trades linearity for nuance, structure for sensation.
Delta Division is music for the overthinkers who still believe in magic , a space where archetypes, emotion, and atmosphere converge into something both cinematic and raw. The debut on Fear of Silence marks this shift with pulsating rhythms and shadowed sonics, evoking memories that never happened but feel like they did.
Where Giordano once defined a world, Delta Division invites you to lose yourself in one.
