BPitch’s second collection of We Are Not Alone compilations closes out with part six, another eclectic all-star selection of techno productions. With each installment the label presents artists who break the mould and create electronic music that defies standard genre categorisation, while holding true to the roots of techno. Artists who are well established, alongside newcomers who are equally innovative and daring. Originally from Gothenburg, Sweden, producer and live set artist Borenstein is now based in Copenhagen with its flourishing techno scene. Primarily a live set artist, he performs with a compact hardware-only setup and is gaining attention for his dynamic sounding performances that provide a fresh new take on techno.
Borenstein has been producing electronic music since 2012 and has been experimenting wildly with different genres. However it wasn't until 2018 when Borenstein dwelled deeper in the world of hardware that he finally found his own sound in a faster form of techno. Borenstein recently joined Petite Victory Collective, a label, event organiser and collective for artists, based in Copenhagen but with members globally, that focuses on hardware music production and live set performances. 
Borenstein, who had a remix together with Moby, released on Moby's own label "Little Idiot" in 2014, finally released his debut EP "Vague Intentions" on Petite Victory Collective in 2022. 

Borenstein has delivered his live sets at, amongst others, Depot Cph, QUANTUM, Pumpehuset, Urban 13 and Rust and has an exciting, debut at Culture Box's Red Box floor with a 1.5 hour live set the 14th of April 2023 - the very same date where we are hosting @mrdmrdmrd for a Tunghør night in Black Box.

You can expect several upcoming releases and more performances from Borenstein in the near future, so keep your eyes open!
