Still a bit tipsy and really happy: that is how ELLEN ALLIEN reports back with “Turn Of Your Mind” the title already gives away that the DJ, producer and Label Boss is all about monotony casted in sounds, the mind has left the body and is only moved by the wind of bass and rhythm.
“Hoo” and “Off” are the song titles, either fast and captivating, raw like unpolished steel. The tracks have been produced on a Roland Aira TR-8 in ELLEN ALLIENs living room – a place that is perfect for profound musical time traveling. The journey goes back to the 1990ies in Berlin, a time where she was playing as a guest and resident in the legendary Clubs like E-Werk, Planet and Tresor letting the music absorb her into Techno and Acid spheres. Both tracks stretch into epic 8 minutes of thrilling techno magic, summoning the listener to one of those “Lost In Music” moments.
This powerful EP is made for nights so filled with dancefloor euphoria that they prolong themselves into the next day wi- thout anyone noticing. Simultaneously with working on this EP the BPitch Control owner has installed a new regular club night finding a new home in a Berlin warehouse. Next to this she is touring all-around the globe sharing the driving energy of techno and acid with an international audience.

Bloody Mary pairs up with Cardopusher to deliver ‘Conformity Kills’ on Dame-Music to open 2020, accompanied by a remix from Sarin.  

With the 10th anniversary of her Dame-Music imprint looming, Bloody Mary arrives into a new decade in fine form armed with a brand-new live set, releases and remixes via the likes of Missile Records, Phuture’s iconic ‘Acid Track’ on Afro Acid and her own Dame-Music, plus appearances at Tresor (Berlin), Shelter (Amsterdam) and festivals and events such as Picnik Electronik and ADE to name just a few within the biggest year of her career to date. Kicking off the New Year with a bang, late February sees the imprint label head team up alongside Barcelona-based artist Cardopusher, known for his releases on the likes of Dark Entries, Zone, Super Rhythm Trax and Boysnoize Records, to deliver an EP full of hard-hitting, acidic EBM weapons – backed by a remix from ‘man of the moment’ Sarin who arrives fresh off the back of his album on Phase Fatale’s ‘Bite’ in late 2019.

The A-side sees the pair serve up the EP’s title track ‘Conformity Kills’ – a high energy production offering a warping and twisted original alongside a broken-beat alternative mix. On the flip, the pair are joined for additional vocals by Lbeeze on the warping ‘Out Of Control’, before Sarin closes proceedings in style with his own heavy interpretation.
