The Unsigned Guide is an online music industry contacts directory & career guide produced specifically for emerging bands, artists, music managers, and the UK music industry. It's bursting at the seams with contact listings covering all aspects of the business from record labels, music publishers, PR companies, recording studios, managers to radio stations, venues, gig promoters, festivals and music distribution. 

Girl Animusica is a retired astronomer and gravure model from Akron, CA.  Born in an Antarctic research station, she spent most of her childhood between small towns in Thailand and Costa Rica.  Upon moving to the United States, she set up shop in the basement of a local natural history museum and spent most of her time building modular synthesizers and collecting reels of stock nature footage.  This tenacious curiosity would permeate through in her frequent endeavours into self-recorded music, which would persist and evolve for the many years to come.  Despite never officially releasing any material to the public, save a few improvisatory tapes which are rumoured to have been lost, Girl Animusica's body of work has grown quite cumbersome and eclectic, and in some circles has become a thing of legend.  Her favourite colour is violet.  Her favourite foods are vegan poutine and anything with matcha.  She is learning Hebrew.
