Rhythm Section International proudly presents it’s 8th offering from local boys Chaos in the CBD. Born in New Zealand, but based in Peckham for the last few years (literally just around the corner from Henry Wu and Bradley Zero), these brothers have made a real mark on the scene here in London town and with their latest set of productions are set to take this message further afield. 
Having already released internationally on labels such as ClekClekBoom (Paris), Hot Haus (London) and Amadeus (Montreal), the duo’s approach to production has matured immeasurably in the last year, as is evident in the restrained potency and poetic subtlety on the 4 tracks across this accomplished EP, Midnight in Peckham. 
Taking it’s title from the locale the boys have come to know as home, the record channels a delicate late night energy - equally indebted to the hypnotic incantations of Ron Trent as it is to the hazy suburban atmospheres of Burial. These 4 classic cuts pay homage to deep house in it’s truest sense - at once sublime, melancholy and meditative . Chaos in the CBD have clearly taken their cue from the mid-west masters of the genre but have not been afraid to let their own influences and environ creep in, and in doing so have created something that is unmistakablely London and infact, timeless.

WellSee is an Amsterdam, Lisbon, and Ghent based harmonizer behind the decks, known for loving all-nighter long sets, vinyl digging, and deep grooves across the full spectrum. With over 20 years in the scene, he runs WeZienWel Records, organizes Curfew Festival, and founded WE’LL SEE, a creative lab for independent artistry. His releases include vinyl on We Play House Recordings and digital works on WeZienWel and Sony. He’s played worldwide at venues and events including Garbicz, Kater Blau, Afrikaburn, Sisyphos, ADE, Tomorrowland, and many more.

Music isn’t just something I hear, it’s something I need to feel. From late-night jazz smoke to heavy house and deep techno that rumbles below 30 Hz, sound for me is not background, it’s a space you can live in.

I build my hi-fi system with the care some people reserve for restoring a classic car. Turntables, amps, cables and speakers are chosen for character and the ability to expose every hidden layer. I’m after that playback where a double bass sounds like real wood and a kick drum makes the floor breathe.

Discovering new sounds is a second nature. Fresh releases, forgotten B-sides, obscure live recordings—they all find a place in my digital and vinyl collection. Vinyl stays at the core. The ritual of needle and groove, the soft crackle before the music starts, the warmth only analog can give—that’s home base.

This SoundCloud isn’t a shop window, it’s a sound logbook. Here I share mixes that drift between deep basslines and melodies that reveal themselves only if you let them. No genre police, just a pulse beating in 4/4. Some sets could soundtrack a crowded club; others unfold like a slow sunrise over the city.

Behind the listening is a bigger hunger: understanding how music fits together. How production, mastering and room acoustics make a track breathe. I spend hours shaping subwoofers, amps and acoustics until it feels like the band is in the room.

For me, music isn’t background noise. It’s a landscape to explore, a universe to step into again and again. SoundCloud is where that journey becomes public, a living archive of rhythms and textures that keep surprising.
