One Day the dreary, new normality became an endless loop of unsteady moods and contradicting sounds. Marlene Kollender, Gregor Darman and Sebastian Welicki from Düsseldorf became Folie 2.
Now it all makes sense!

Marking TFGC’s 20th Release, Folie 2 present a fascinating cosmos of sound and feeling. No shortcuts, this is a journey!

TFGC020 - A4 Folie 2 - Confrontation

Prolific Italian duo Orion and dear friends of the Delayed team are ending the year with a bang, as they release ORN006 on their namesake label, their only solo release of the year.

We’re very happy to feature the A3 track - TWS. This wonderful piece of electro wastes no time, getting straight to the point with its acid line, bouncy percussion and eerie chords, being reminiscent of Aphex Twin with hints of Sega Soundtrack influence.  

In typical Orion style, this release is impressively versatile, starting out with ambient, and navigating through breakbeat and downtempo. The duo’s slow release policy is definitely paying off, as it’s clear that they prioritize quality above quantity, having not released a full solo release since April 2021. As always, we’ll be waiting for their next work, and immensely enjoying this in the meantime.

Orion's "Tenet" EP will be out on their own Orion label on December 15.
