Her school and college education was coupled with spiritual study in a peaceful and loving environment at the local Brahma Kumaris center in Chandigarh, and slowly, what was just playful childhood curiosity blossomed into deep interest and love for a spiritually based lifestyle.  She also learnt Indian classical music and was a recipient of National Talent Search scholarship in music.
