Shri Sankat Nashan Ganesh Stotram is a verse from Narad Puran. 
Lord Ganesha is known to remove obstacles from the life of devotees. 
He not only fulfills material wishes but also helps in achieving the ultimate realization whosoever seeks it.


Meaning of the stotra :

We bow down to Lord Ganesha who is the son of Goddess Parvati, and pray every day with devotion to get long life, wealth, and success.

We meditate upon him first (Vakratuṇda) as the God who smashes those who are crooked (by nature), Second (Ekadanta) as the Lord with one tusk, Third (Kṛṣhṇa-piṅgāksha) as the one with reddish black eyes, Fourth (Gajavaktra) as the one who has the face of an elephant.
Fifth (Lambodara) as the one who is the pot-bellied, Sixth (Vikata) as the one who is fierce to his enemies, Seventh (Vignarājendra) as the one who is the remover of obstacles, Eighth (Dhūmravarṇa) as the one who has complexion as smoke.
Ninth (Bhālachandra) as the one who has crescent moon on his forehead, Tenth (Vināyaka) as the one who is the leader of the remover of obstacles, Eleventh (Gaṇapati) as the leader of the army of Lord Shiva, And twelfth (Gajanana) as the one who has the face of an elephant

Anyone reading these twelve names, in all three times that is in Dawn, Noon and Dusk, will never have fear of failure, And will always achieve whatever he wants.
One who pursues knowledge will get knowledge, One who wants to earn money will get money, One who wishes for a child will get a child, And one who wants salvation will get (spiritual) pace
Results of chanting this prayer of Ganapati will be visible within six months,
And within a year, he would get all wishes fulfilled, And there is no doubt about this.
One who gives this prayer, in writing to eight learned people, And offers it to Lord Ganesha,
will become knowledgeable And would be leading in all aspects of life, by the grace of Lord Ganesha.

Thus ends the prayer from Narada Purana to Ganesha which would destroy all misery.
