Sally Dige (pronounced “Dee-Ah”) is a Danish-Canadian independent solo artist based in Berlin, Germany, who writes, records, produces and arranges her own music; in addition to creating and managing all aspects of her visual work. She has released two albums, a handful of singles, and has featured in numerous collaborations. 

Sally Dige began her solo project in Vancouver, Canada in 2012, after being invited to write and record musical accompaniment for her friend’s poetry project. Within a few short hours in the studio, Dige already had the backbone to her songs “Immaculate Deception” and “Doppelgänger”. A sudden change of circumstances in the studio led her friend to convince Dige to finish those songs and release them for her own solo project.

In 2013, Dige relocated to Berlin in order to focus on music and the creative arts. Over the years, her sound has changed organically from italo disco-inspired electro, to post-punk, to ethereal new romantic. Her current sound combines elements of folk, new wave and art-rock. Her recent endeavour towards acoustic instruments was the need for change from her last album, “Holding On” (2017), which was entirely programmed and recorded on one synthesiser that she hauled back and forth between Denmark and Berlin on a bus. “The natural form of self-rebellion was to pick up instruments that didn't need electricity to function, and play with strings and the hands again,” says Dige.

Chicago Based artist Dan B Hood is a Resident of Research and Development  and co-founder of Triage, an industry focused monthly recovery at the California Clipper. They are the current Lighting Director at smartbar Chicago and leader of a [Sound Death Cult].

His style is a diverse combination of experimental bass, beautiful melodies, bright future-style synths, and hard-hitting dance beats all complimented by the occasional virtuosic guitar solo. With all of the genres his art blends, his range and originality are creating a larger and more impressive musical statement with each coming year. Having a range of major tastemakers like Zeds Dead, Subtronics, Tape B, GRiZ, Rezz, CloZee, Of The Trees, and LSDREAM all supporting his music, this Future is always looking more Super.

It’s easy to hear that Rowland’s musical inclination was harnessed early, when he was shredding classics on guitar. His music today has echoes of his early love for live instrumentation, with elements of various guitar and percussion types underneath the forward-thinking experimental and contemporary dance sounds. Super Future can just as easily bring the nostalgia of 2010 melodic dubstep as he can wield the most unheard-of experimental bass nuances in the same live experience. In the middle of all that, Rowland can invoke powerful emotion with his downtempo and have you throwing ass five minutes later!
