After three years, UrbnMowgli resurfaces with his EP on his own imprint, Emotional Voyage. With ‘Ancient Knowledge Transmission’ he fuses cascading drum machine rhythms with rapid-fire basslines, acidic sequences, whimsical leads and chopped sample bits to create otherworldly rave relics. A solid blend from video game characteristics to shaking club rhythms.

The four-track EP drifts between moody Lynchian atmospheres and menacing beat drops. More than tracks, these are playful yet meticulous journeys, sculpted with wide spatial depth, teleporting the listener into futuristic electro breakbeat. This production definitely got all dust off the synths and shows once more his versatility of UrbnMowgli’s hybrid approach inviting you into a realm of internal imagery.

R&S founder Renaat Vandepapeliere launches part two of his new series RV Trax, an imprint to reflect the sound of his DJ sets and to give a platform to artists not based on social media likes or online hype.

Finally succumbing to the temptation to try his own hand at rocking the crowd his DJ sets have seen him assemble a treasure trove of unreleased music that will now find a very personal home on RV Trax. Emblazoned with the Belgian national colours of black, yellow and red these tracks proudly flaunt their 'floor-filling dynamics.

Part two explores classic House and Techno sounds from artists based in France, Italy and England.

Wavescape is Paul Weston who first appeared under this name in the golden era of original UK tech-house releasing alongside the likes of Ian O'Brien and Downlink on labels like Solid groove records and Mark Ambrose's Crayon records. 'Voyager' is classic jazz-techno that wouldn't look at of place on an import with the 313 postcode stamp.

A-Sim is a brand new artist from France who has just released a debut EP on Frankfurt's Rawax making him label mates with the likes of Gigi Galaxy, Marco Bernardi and Neil Landstrumm - all artists he shares some DNA with. 'Love & Hate' is slinky deep electro that also takes inspiration from UK bass.

Marc Vain drops some trademark deep techno that makes it clear why he has picked up high profile fans like Anthony Shakir, Sean Deason, Terrence Parker and Jay Denham over the years. Blackstone is a new artist from Italy who supplies a lively drum track dj tool. Mix it up don't play it raw.

Forced to pause the events in the spring, our restlessness has manifested itself in the form of a debut label release: a 21-track genre spanning compilation.

We chose to work closely with friends and family, artists that have an affiliation with AM, each expressing themselves in their freest forms from broken-techno, glitchy breakbeats and mutant dancehall, to IDM & electro.

f we could describe LUZ1E's music with one word, it would certainly be "eclectic". Having drawn influence from her brother's collection of Chicago and New York House, the Frankfurt-born producer has learnt to manifest her learnings into a fresh take on the seminal sound. Following her success on labels such as Lobster Theremin, Shall Not Fade, Goddess Music, we are very excited to present her four track EP for VOITAX - Radical Optimism. The opener "Transition" lays down LUZ1E's law, featuring headstrong drum work, matched with equally menacing bass arpeggios. If the theme of apocalypticism wasn't obvious enough from the opening track's looming pads, it will become apparent with "Electronic Warfare". Served up on electro's trustworthy chassis, we watch the distorted arpeggios unfold as the tension of the pads guide us to an dystopian finale. On the flip, the title track "Radical Optimism" uses shrill pad pressure to break the track's dreamy opening sequence - as the modulating bass provides plenty of frequencies for the dance floor. The closing track, "Emotional Intelligence" provides a candid looking glass into the producer's musical influences. LUZ1E's knack for emotive pads furnish the track's uplifting structure with class, as breaks and bass deliver us to a tender climax.
