For the fifth Oscillation of the neural variety we invited Soul Edifice, bossman at Vernacular Records and a strong producer whose caustic forays into subaquatic and spatial terrain have been catching our attention for a while now. As a DJ he seems to like all the same things we do: hoover synths, vocals, dark atmospheres, acid, breaks, acid, breaks and a fair dose of acid and breaks .

Pas encore pubère le jour où il s'est frotté à une platine pour la première fois, Nathan Zahef est l'incarnation parfaite du pur DJ. Des eaux houleuses d'une Techno juteuse aux remous d'une House excentrique, ce kid inarrêtable navigue sans perdre le cap, fort d'une patte reconnaissable entre mille. Explosif et généreux, le fer de lance du crew Remois La Forge n'a aucune peine à semer à la fois le fuel et les allumettes dans le club pour regarder avec un sourire en coin prendre le feu de joie.

ret is interested in music and sound, looking for new ways to think about the two. He djs (as ret and his alter-ego Rıza); co-hosted radio shows (Bankpank, means, Madem Evdeyiz and A.I.D.); reads, writes and edits texts on sound; works as a music director (karga and kargART); co-organizes independent festivals (multiRAID, parAID, bankparnaval, Açıkppqqmm); compiles music (Noisy Ground, In Sync); participates in collectives (A.I.D., ppqqmm, Açık Alan) and sometimes steps away from the underground to manage a major string orchestra from Istanbul (Istanbul Strings). When djing, he is after mixing tracks and samples off context to accompany everyday politics, in search of an expression of meaning beyond sound.
