Berlin-based artist Werner Soyeaux under his stage name Bläck Dävil is a core part of the Berlin collective Ick Mach Welle. Schnäll Schnäll is his debut solo artist EP on Killekill, with own productions accompanied by collaborations with Bettina and DJ Normal 4, alongside remixes by Rhyw and Gesloten Cirkel. The EP opens with the dark intro Alptraum, which Gesloten Cirkel transforms into an ill-tempered acid-electro monster. The title track Schnäll Schnäll provides a stark contrast to these, with bright overtones existing alongside deeply rooted sonic bedrock. Rhyw adds a level of abstraction and futurism with his remix of this track, whilst retaining the dub-influenced vibe of the original. Following on from this Geldschere is collaboration with Düsseldorf artist DJ Normal 4, with Bläck Dävil contributing his own lyrics and voice, to create a track that could be fittingly described as “Acid Punk Rock”! The final track on the release is a cheeky ode to the Ick Mach Welle family. Here the Dävil's passion for Hardtekk, Gabber and similar rough styles of music become clear.

After his morning routine of yoga and meditation, Brian checks his ever-growing Revolut.Mars account before reads the intergalactic news on his phone while drinking his coffee. This morning, an article from Cydonia Daily catches his eye:

“42 thousand hectolitres of illegal Aqua Encelada seized by Martian Perimeter Forces (MPF)

In the early hours of the Martian morning, Extrapol have made the biggest seizure to date of undeclared Aqua Ence- lada in the vicinity of landing station MRS_3213. The finding of 42’00 hectolitres of high-purity Aqua Encelada on a cargo vessel entering supposedly carrying rare earths from the Centauri system marks a new record for the prolife- ration of illegal trade of this highly sought-out drinking water from Saturn’s ice-covered moon Enceladus.
Tests made on the chemical composition of the cargo reveal the water to have been extracted by the famously dan- gerous and highly illegal Aquabahn Method, which consists of high-speed capture of H20 particles ejected via cryo- volcanic eruption on Enceladus’s southern pole. This illicit method of extraction has become increasingly popular in recent years as mismanagement within AquaCorp Galactica coupled with unrelenting inflation on Mars have led to a surge in the price of luxury goods such as drinking water.
So far, no arrests have been made. A spokesperson from Extrapol told our journalists that the entire crew of the cargo vessel “internally combusted” immediately upon the discovery of the illegal cargo, leaving no survivors, but rumours that an escape pod managed to evade capture and jump to an unknown destination in hyperspace have been circulating. One Martian Perimeter Forces (MPF) official whose identity must be kept secret for obvious rea- sons told our investigative team that the cargo is believed to have been extracted by the Ultracephalic League and their mysterious amphibious leader Brian.
We strongly urge our readers to consume only the government-authorised synthesised Martian water, and to avoid luxury products whose dangerous extraction increases the influence of dangerous non-governmental groups such as the Ultracephalic League and their slug-like despot leader.“

Standards & Practices is thrilled to announce an exciting new release from veteran producer and label owner Jonathan Krohn, otherwise known as Stave, and Bristol-based producer Tavis Hitchcock, who writes and releases music under the name Karkossyn. Karkossyn's superb debut EP ("Troubled Youth") for the like-minded and consistently excellent UVB-76 imprint led to a conversation about a possible collaboration, which has resulted in "New Values" - a 12-track split cassette which highlights and showcases both artists approaches to blackened, scorched-earth electronics.

Stave's contribution is a solid summation of his craft and acts as a potent reminder of his range and abilities as a producer: from the cacophonous, arrhythmic "62523" to the simmering, coiled tension of "Relearn / Forget", there's ample evidence here of an artist operating at the height of his powers; the expansive, surprisingly moving "Rolyy" ends the first half on a powerfully lyrical note.

On the flip side, Karkossyn begins with the bleak atmospherics of "Hidden Heart", which soon gives way to "Break The Fall", a heavy dose of Scorn-esque breakbeat-driven bass weight. "For The Floor" ratchets up the tension to an almost unbearable degree, and the droning, cinematic ambience of "Memento" and the dense, pulverizing "Ruins" finishes the split EP in an elegantly brutal fashion.

DJ 20134 is co-owner and A/R of the FU.ME records label founded in 2012. His activity as a selector is based on an in-depth research and record collection of the genres he loves, such as hip hop and especially electro and ghetto music, ranging up to the most sought-after and avant-garde sounds the music industry offers.

In 2020 joined the FU.ME family by introducing a radio project later resulting in a fruitful series of releases called DAAF, which connects the emerging realities of the electronic scene around the globe.

In 2022 founded together with DJ Vietnam and Eurospeed the parent label Lambratech, oriented more on fast music, cyber-tek and rave.

His performances canalize the dancefloor in a climax of sounds, whose bpm decode the message making it clear, direct and leaving no room for too long breaths.
