Despite being friends for years and sharing a similar passion with similar influences, Riyell and Estebahn have so far never managed to DJ together in a sober state before. The high point of their collaboration being a ten-hour back to back set on top of a mountain last summer, they decided to try and come up with a mix in which they actually remember what they played. This is the result.

For the second month Black Pyramid makes a guest appearance. Black Pyramid is a live act by an Amsterdam based musician hailing from the US. Born in Munich and currently based in Thessaloniki, Whiplash is a young upcoming artist. She’s quickly become a resident DJ at OSM Tapes Event Series and the A&R for upcoming premieres and podcasts. Ever since early childhood she’s been keen to dig into as many facets of music as possible, eventually becoming a guitarist and a vocalist in polyphonic projects. In 2020 she decided to move her passion for the electronic music spectrum forward and start DJing. Her sound is a multi blended construction, heavily influenced by the early EBM and 80’s Post- Punk movement. She also likes to incorporate techno or dirty Electro elements and Dark-Wave touches in her DJ sets, in order to create a rich, multidimensional soundscape.

No Soap Radio teams up to celebrate the launch of Machine Cult, a new label and event series run by Garçon Taupe (Narrominded, Intergalactic FM, Enfant Terrible) and Déandrah (Dee Dee’s Picks, Echobox, Fade Radio).

This extended episode presents Moodswings (Microdots, Amsterdam Acid) and two b2b’s: One between Garçon Taupe, xceptor and marienus, the other served by The Spy (Osàre, Mechatronica) and Déandrah.

On November 25th Machine Cult is hosting its first event in Amsterdam’s OT301. The line-up includes all aforementioned artists plus Rotterdam and Operator’s own xceptor (Everyone On Acid, Public Sex Regime), with Déandrah on VJ duties.
